The AudioQuest cable with the grounding wire is needed for either in wall installations for Home theater or to erase any hum coming from subwoofers where multiple subs are used. This worked as it should, was easy to install and made the experience much better without the hum.

There isn't much to say here really. It's done a fantastic job of connecting my speakers to the SVS PB-1000 subwoofer I bought and there's no grounding to speak of.

Pricey but were recommended by Geek Squad. Seem appropriate for the quality of the Def Techs I bought

People often forget that God cables can make a difference. This is a great cable and it's going to last a very long time. I highly recommend it.

The cable itself seems to be doing the job, but I had not expected the small grounding prong that is attached to the end of the cable like some unwanted umbilical cord. I understand its purpose, but AQ needs to offer this protection built in to the cable on all their price points. It's just too inconvenient to have to get out a screwdriver and pull the unit out where you can undo the clip when you need to change cables or move the sub around. I'm leaning toward 3 stars, but giving it 4 due to my acceptance of their product line as being a reputable and solid solution to the over-priced Monster line of cabling.

We originally purchased this cable thinking we would need this long of a run but unfortunately we had to return it since the run from the receiver to the subwoofer wasn’t as far as the cable would go. We did have the opportunity to test it out before returning it and it does it’s job well.

Didn’t really need the ground since my sub did not have this on back panel. This was recommended but didn’t need this.

I was working on new home theater installation within my house and ran all wires through walls. When i received this cable i was pleasantly surprised how well insulated and durable it was. Though these cables are pricy, they are good quality. Sub also plays well now that everything is connected.

Its like umbilical cord to the sound machine. As in you cannot do without it.

I tried multiple cables from Amazon but they were ok and after sum time hum sound started coming from subwoofer, Now I tried this cable from best buy sound quality so much improved. I will highly recommend this product.

Took care of the white noise I had with my subwoofer. The Black Lab series does just what it promises. A good Subwoofer speaker need a premium cable to get most out of the speakers. Did what we needed it to do, Thanks.

This is a solid cable. The ground was useless to me as it would be to a lot of people. Audioquest cables are fine and I only got this one because I was in a pinch. Any well made subwoofer cable would perform just as well for less money. If you’re a cable geek go ahead if it makes you feel better. No one’s going to compliment you on your subwoofer cable choice btw... Solid cable, it works, no complaints The price wasn’t terrible which is the only reason I didn’t leave it at the store.

Had sub whoofer hum. This fix the problem. Added bonus the subs sound better as well

My sub doesn't have a hum so that's about all I could hope for. Good job, cable. Kind of wish the hugged the other end tighter.

It was easy to set up and ground on both ends of the wire (at receiver and subwoofer). After replacing a blown subwoofer due to a possible short in a cable, this is definitely worth the purchase.

Actually bought a second black lab sub woofer cable. Sounds great! Since I didn’t need the ground lug, I just taped it back.
