Does the job nicely, but price seems a little stiff.

We needed something so our smart TV would run through our surround sound. The Best Buy technician had us purchase this and showed me how to hook it up. It works just like he said it would.

They break really easily I had to buy like four of them

The color coding helps when presented with all the wires.

BestBuy adviser recommended this cable to integrat new tv with existing Bose sound system. Geek Squad determined the arrangement will not work. Cable was returned.

Now able to use voice command to turn on tv and receiver for surround sound.

My sound bar came with this audio cable. I installed with this cable and without and it showed no difference . Overrated . Seem like salesman trying to make a sale

I am a big A/V person, and I run my own personal tests between various cables with various setups. People always say that there is no difference in cabling, but they are wrong. I have a modest setup currently, with a 47LM7600 series LG TV, and an LG NB3520 soundbar system. Nothing too powerful audio-wise, but still a solid setup. I had been using Rocketfish Optical Cabling and it had done a fine job, but lately I had been noticing some distortion watching Game of Thrones, playing Xbox, and much more. I went to my local Magnolia Center to check out AudioQuest, and wanted a cable to reduce that distortion. The shielding gets this done magnificently. A four hour marathon of Game of Thrones allowed me to enjoy all the phenomenal sound that this show and soundbar is capable of. I enjoyed crisper, and fuller sound that the Rocketfish cable. Best of all, no distortions. Rocketfish is a solid cable brand, but if you enjoy pristine audio performance even on mid-range products, you need to consider AudioQuest as a top priority.

You can see and feel the quality that went into any AudioQuest product the minute you open the box. I have all AudioQuest interconnects on my home stereo and have always been pleased with the performance. So when it came to buying a optical cable for my television, I knew which brand I would be buying. I wasn't disappointed.

I replaced an existing cable that had worn connectors on either end. The cable would move, and I would experience drop-outs. This cable fits great, and there is no more movement in the mating sockets, and no more drop-outs!

I didn't believe these expensive optical cables would make a difference, but I just had to replace this cable because my cats chewed through it with a cheap one and it is now I realize that this cable was definitely worth it, because with the cheap cable the sound quality is substantially poorer!

Needed to purchase a cable & although I did not intend or expect to pay as much as I did, in retrospect I'm glad that I did. It's a top shelf, high quality product and it shows in the picture. Perhaps more more priced cables will suffice but you cannot go wrong with this model, especially if you own higher end equipment where it would be foolish to skimp based on your overall investment.

It is costly but I think it is a good fit when we use high end home theaters.

Felt kind of iffy on buying this optical cable to replace my hdmi cable but im really glad i went with it. sound is incredible. It literally sounds like my hdmi cable is still plugged in. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good optical cable
