I didn't notice any change
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a pair of V-Moda M100 headphones and I listened to a 320kbps track with sample rate of 44,100 kHz. I made sure the output on the Dragonfly Red is also 44,100 kHz and listened on my MacBook Air Mid 2013 model. The only difference I could notice was how much louder the sound was. So I decided the adjust the loudness on my MacBook Air so it sounds as loud as the output on Dragonfly, and I didn't notice too much of difference! I also tried a few more tracks I had purchased on iTunes or Google Music and the results showed minimal improvement. In my experience, this device does bring the sound to life a bit, but I don't think the little performance change justifys the $200 price tag.

Not Exciting
