This has greatly increased my audio enjoyment! I use this for HiRes streaming and downloads and it definitely makes a difference vs Bluetooth audio quality. Not only does it make full use of the higher quality audio files with the 24-bit/96KHz DAC, but it improves the sound of all the recordings I've played including MP3s. Very Happy so far!

I’m truly pleased with the dragon fly black. I Have notice major differences in sound quality, when using my Sennheiser hd599 headphones.

Purchased this on sale and with some certificates. Really good amp/DAC. This really brings a quality set of headphones alive. Small enough to carry with you to use on phone. I use Tidal music service which has many master recordings. If your using a newer android you can get a Dragontail adapter to use this with your phone. But do recommend this.

You need a high quality headphone to be able to maximize the sound quality this amp produces. This will not make your so so headphone sound like a $1000 headphone.

Clean and crisp audio, can’t get any better than this

I purchased this to stream music from my budget laptop (NAS personal FLAC library, Tidal, etc.). Simple to install using Win 10 and the sound is of course great considering the implementation of an ESS 9016 DAC. Cheap laptop and this DAC was less expensive than purchasing a dedicated streamer like the Bluesound Node 2i. Definitely satisfied with the purchase.

This thing works amazingly well. I previous had tried the Dragonfly Red but returned it and go this instead - I cannot tell the difference in sound but this costs half the price. If you get this, try out TIDAL and enjoy the sound of MQA which this device supports.

Yes I just hooked this up to my i-phone and listen to some hi res Neil Young and it sounded fantastic.

Everything sounds great through this, but I'm still on the fence if it was worth the upgrade. It definitely gives my headphones more power, but not sure it's worth spending so much money on .I use this with Tidal and Audio-Technica headphones. I think mainly I get more bass. But even though I'm on the fence, I would still get it again

Had first generation audioquest black before. This audioquest red is far superior. Great for computer generated desktop audio playback. Also does MQA. Tidal masters streaming sounds great. Worth the asking price.

Excellent quality DAC for the size. I use this daily at work. Makes any audio sound better than the standard PC audio output. Pair with quality headphones and lossless audio and prepared to be blown away.

Works / sounds amazing on my older generation iPod ( 7 years old ) and iPad ( 3 years old ) even with an inexpensive $30 pair of wired headphones. Great boost in bass and sound treble clarity. However I cannot get it to work with my new iPhone 12 max pro. Apple techs told me to contact Dragonfly techs. I’ll try that soon.

I had only heard about these but never really gave them much thought. But now that i have one, i understand why people recommend them. I immediately noticed the difference, and I highly recommend them!
