It is what it is. Not sure if the higher price means better than a cheaper one, but I haven't had any problems with it.

When I bought a new smart t.v. I found that due to an older tuner, I had to be wired in such a manner that audio was separate from the HDMI, so audio and video were not in sync. Especially, when watching something on-line with the new smart t.v. This solved the problem by providing a return from the t.v. to the tuner. Next, a new tuner so everything goes HDMI through it.

I felt the difference between this cable and other regular ones, especially if you are going to attach to a sound bar.
