    Hard to review cables. I had a tv installed with the wires hidden, so I wanted the best cables to be installed so I bought these. So far so good.,

    This high quality optical cable when connected provided great results. However, I already had some optical cables that were very good so I opted to reuse those rather than the new ones. Simply a cost saving measure.

    My standard optical cord that came with my sound bar broke within 2 weeks of use. This is the second time this has happened to me with a purchase. This one has so far outlasted the last one, but I don't hear the better sound quality that everyone boasts. Maybe if I cranked up the sound I could hear the difference in quality.

    We were advised by BestBuy associate that we would need this cable to connect the Sonos system to our TV. The cable does not connect the system to our 6 yr old TV. We are getting a new TV and hopefully we will be able to use the cable then. I would not purchase unless you are 100% sure that you actually need it.
