We were having issues with newer electronics and the lower quality cables. The tv, bluray, game systems, etc. were constantly going blank and giving a message about the signal. Got the new cable, and haven't had any issues since.

So far so good. The only reason for 4 stars is because I just got it and time will tell.

I definitely did see a difference in the picture and sound.

didn't know that this cord was necessary to hook up smart/roku tv. this should be a standard when the salesman is checking you out.

I like this wire. If you're dvd/blu ray player is far from TV, i would recommend getting a longer wire.

I don't know if I really needed a 4k cable, but it is a good idea to have it. I plan on streaming video from Amazon and some video is 4k (granted there is not a lot). A 4k cable should provide the clarity necessary to truly appreciate the 4k experience.

I know many say the cable doesnt matter but i had a very old cable and a new 4k samsung tv and wanted to hook it up to a a/v receiver. This cable is a little more money and is rated to have the bandwidth needed now and in the future. It worked flawlessly.

Bought two of these for my 51 inch samsung plasma, they are packaged very nicely, you can tell as soon as you unravel them that they are high quality. While they are not the most expensive hdmi cables out there, they are a very nice for their price. Don't buy an expensive tv and cheap out on the cables.

Not sure I needed this but sound was better after adding this.

Needed a wire through the wall and went with the best so as to not to have to risk failure and the subsequent need for replacement, which would have been a lot of trouble. In such a situation, just go with the best as it is cheaper in the long run.
