If you have wireless anything and need to connect to Bluetooth, but your transmitter just can’t get there; this is the cable for your secondary transmitter. I used it to connect wireless speakers in our backyard for a cookout. The NAS device couldn’t transmit far enough so I purchased a secondary transmitter. The cable allowed me to place the transmitter in the kitchen which is, ta da, right next to the backyard. The setup worked great and allowed for the same music to be heard inside and out! It was a fantastic event. Sorry you couldn’t be there.

Great to connect your Older Denon Stereo to TV.
If you don’t have modern connections because your surround system is a little older, then this optical cable might just be the ticket. High quality, great sound and it synchronizes with the picture so words and mouth movements are synchronized. It little expensive but this one is long at close to 20 ft.
I’m connecting a Denon Stereo which has my Bose surround connected to it, and then connects to my brand new Sony 77 inch XBR Master Series XG9 4K OLED TV. Fantastic!!!

I bought some expensive hifi gear and decided to upgrade my cheap toslink cable and ZERO difference in sound quality. I had the same experience with my $100 AQ vodka HDMI cable. Save your money and get the best buy or insignia digital cables. I have high-end analog cables (non audio quest) where I do hear the difference. Try switching the actual digital cable to hear difference ie coax (spdif) to toslink or if your equipment has AES for the best digital cable ime.

These changed my gaming experience. I now have my Xbox Series X wired directly to my 8K Samsung TV's and the optical cable runs out from the TV to the sound bar. Once hooked up directly to the TV, the Xbox immediately reset its graphics settings to push out at highest available quality. Things look radically different vs pushing the HDMI through the sound bar and then to the TV.

I’m not sure if an optical cable needs any quality enhancements, but this thing has a really slick stripe. If I’ve learned anything from the past, it’s that the faster item has the racing stripe. Your mileage may vary.
