    I've never owned an optical cable before, but this one has served me well so far for what it's worth. I don't hear too much distortion in the audio unless it has something to do with explosion or rushing water sound, but that's just something I heard through my sound bar.

    It saved me from having to buy a new sound bar. I wanted to be able to use my Bluetooth sound bar with a tv that was not Bluetooth compatible. Works great!

    I was told this was the best one but had trouble with it, so I made appt to have the GEEK SQUAD come to my home to trouble shot. They got it to work but took a little time.
