I bought some expensive hifi gear and decided to upgrade my cheap toslink cable and ZERO difference in sound quality. I had the same experience with my $100 AQ vodka HDMI cable. Save your money and get the best buy or insignia digital cables. I have high-end analog cables (non audio quest) where I do hear the difference. Try switching the actual digital cable to hear difference ie coax (spdif) to toslink or if your equipment has AES for the best digital cable ime.

I had my TV mounted and a sound bar was mounted right below it. The original optical audio cable was thick and would keep hitting the power button based on where the sound bar was oriented. This worked perfectly. The cable is very durable. The ends have a very thin profile and are excellent for tight fitting areas.

Needed this wire to go through the wall and went with the best so as to not to have to risk failure and the subsequent need for replacement, which would have been a lot of trouble. In such a situation, just go with the best as it is cheaper in the long run. Perfect sound from this cable!

To be very frank, I didn't expect to be able to tell the difference between a USB and optical link to a soundbar, but there really is! This is a high-quality addition to deliver great sound for music and movies.

Didn't know these will go bad. I had to move my entertainment system around when i unplugged this i guess it went bad, So time for an upgrade this is nicer it's a longer cord witch is nice a little pricer but you know its quality.

AQ connections are always my favorites. This affordable digital connection sounds better than the stock optical cord that came with a new DAC recently. It’s also a little longer length than the other skimpy one which makes it more manageable.

I already owned this cable in the five-foot length, so I knew what I was getting. The original cable was a little short for the convenience of making any future changes in the setup. So, I went with a longer cable; all is good.

My new Sony 70" TV has a optic port and so did my 10 year old Sony DVD / Sound system . Buy hooking these up with this cable I'm able to use the great sound system at any time while I watch TV -VCR - DVD . Tip = be sure to remove the plastic caps that are on the cable ends !

Best quality optical , I have been using this for years . I had to buy a new one due to length I needed more length for my new tv to mount in wall

Cable is made of good quality for being so affordable. I was able to notice a difference in sound and picture quality over my regular HDMI cables.

Great cable. Sounds great. CD player to DAC. Does all Hi-Rez including 192khz. Amazing bass, silky highs. 1.5m length is best for digital.

After using this cable, I realized that I could hear well below 20hz and well above 20khz. It never was the speakers problem, cable that got the audio to the signal processor the whole time!

Needed to install my sound bar to TV. This cable is more beneficial than an HDMI cable....it is much thinner, able to bend better, and you receive the same sound/picture quality.

Seems like a good cable for the price and the connections are solid. Good quality and materials. Definitely not audiophile quality but a huge upgrade to what's usually in the box of audio equipment.

Great product. We needed a coonector for our speaker from our tv and this product works great.

If you are an audiophile like myself, I would recommend using optical audio for premium audio experiences, such action packed movies and mainly for music. Optical uses laser light to transmit audio signals through fiberoptic cabling to receivers or sound systems.
