I installed these for use on my Pioneer Elite receiver and liked them but I ended up returning them because the receiver would not fit back in my component rack with the additional space required at the rear of the unit. I did not remove any stars for this becasue it's not the fault of the product and I would recommend if you have the space for them.

I like these banana clips, they seem to be solidly made. One issue that I have is that upper set of retention screws, the screws intended to secure the speaker wire in place, tend to fall out or rather fall through. For the price, these screws should have a stopping mechanism if it doesn't come in contact with the speaker wire.

This is my first use of this product as I upgraded the speaker wiring on my audio system. The male portion of the connector does not fully set in the banana connections of my system, leaving an exposed portion. Would recommend the manufacturer also redesign the anchor of the audio cable to the connect with a better set screw system.

No knock on this product, it was my error - did not realize my speaker wire gauge was too small to fit correctly in these banana plugs. My only feedback or advice might be to have the gauge clearly indicated on the outside of the box and/or know that you need heavy gauge wire for these to work properly. Overall, very good quality.

I have purchased many of these Audioquest SureGrip 300 Banana plugs in the past.
(you have to be a little creative with the multi-strand wire before installing it in the banana plug)
They work; and sound good.

I have used these connectors with my front channel cables, which are AudioQuest X-2 cable. I use Monstercable connectors for the rear and center channels. The AudioQuest is good and provide a snug connection. I like that they provide extra screws because if you ever drop one on the floor, good luck finding it. You need good vision to use these connectors. I am rating these as 3 star strictly on price. OMG. I can't hear the difference. Connecting to a Yamaha RX A4A receiver. Have not used for the speaker connection end.

These banana plugs are well made & easy to work with! These plugs allow you to screw down the inserted speaker cable in two spots creating a very secure connection. Well worth the price, especially if connecting higher end receiver & high quality speakers with 14 gauge or better speaker cable.

I love the look, design, and performance of these connectors by AudioQuest. I have not been disappointed by the upgrade in quality. You get what you pay for. As a matter of fact I've converted all my home theater audio/video cables to AudioQuest

These connectors handle 20 ->12 stranded AWG speaker wire. The banana plugs provide a snug fit into my Denon AVR-S930H receiver. The Cambridge Sound Works connectors were a loose fit, of course they're antiques. I ended up getting 3 sets to take care of Dolby 5.1, didn't need one for the sub-woofer.

These can take sometime to put together. I like them because once they are assembled (Screwing wires in). they are sturdy and I feel secure with the connections.
