I really don't know why I waited so long to upgrade my speaker wires, after installing the Audioquest X-2 speaker cables I was rewarded with a clean distortion free and extreamly rich sound not yet experienced with my home theater system. The decision was easy enough to make when I realized that even though I had spent top dollar on speakers and a reciever but then inturn conected those devices with .02 cents a yard cables how could I posibley achieve any kind of true sound reproduction (the saying is very true the chain is only as strong as the weakest link). I was unsure if I would experience a difference in sound reproduction but was plesantly suprized, all my conections are currently being upgraded to Audioquest. All I can say is thank you Audioquest!

After upgrading all 7 speakers in living room to Def Tech, which was a great improvement over old Polks, I didn't want to leave any weak links -- mostly concerned with the long wiring runs to the surrounds (~30 ft each) -- so decided to bite the bullet and finish it off right by completely rewiring with higher-end cable, up from current Monster XP -- spent all day Saturday going up and down stairs to tear out the old and run the new (ranch house, went thru floors and walls), wrestled with stripping the wire, switching banana plugs, etc -- expected a reasonable difference for $400 worth of wire -- but in the end just noticed a slightly improved tightness from fronts and center, did absolutely nothing for the surrounds -- disappointed, wasted a lot of time and money -- if anything, would now give Monster XP a higher rating than I would have before...

What to say about cabling? It's extremely good quality, less AVR power to drive the speakers than other cables, and you get what you pay for with this cable. Wire wasn't brittle and was easy to connect to the terminals.

I've always used Monster Cable for all of my wiring. Recently I rewired my whole system and, on the recommendation of the salesman, I used AudioQuest X-2 cable. He told me that I would notice a difference in the quality of the sound from my speakers and he was absolutely right. Although not inexpensive, it's definitely a great value at this price. Kudos to the salesman who stepped out of the box and made a recommendation about this superior cabling over Monster.

Perfect wire I use on my surround speakers and my center channel.

I purchased this cable many months ago from BB, but just recently installed them. I have a new center speaker, and this was the best chance to see if there really was a difference between cables. The sound was noticeably clearer and well, just better. The price is definitely justified.

The cost of the speaker wire is well worth the quality. The speaker wire is thick, and it doesn't break off like the cheap wire does when you strip the wire cover. Love this speaker wire

They're made of copper, which is the second most conductive element on the planet (silver being the only element with greater conductivity, albeit at a "hefty-er" price). The claim that the specific way the strands are wound and how it passes current better is laughable. So long as you stick with high quality copper wiring (the larger the gauge, the better, to a point), current will pass through it just fine. Cheaper cable exists that is of equal quality and can be made at home with simple tools. The item works just fine, it's just overpriced.

I bought this speaker wire, thinking they would be better than my monster xp. They were about the same if not worse, dont spend your money on this, not worth it.

I could have gone with cheaper cables that are out there. But after buying an expensive setup I wanted everything to be perfect. So I went with these ones. What would have happened with the cheaper ones I seriously do not know. One day I have to try and see :)

I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Wires work well and transmit properly. They have a lovely copper color.

This is the best speaker cable I've ever used or seen. Great product.
