Signal gets blocked constantly

I mounted it in the rear center of my roof.Interference happens every couple of minutes it seems.

What I expected

It's just a cord so it's difficult to have any major cons. The annoying thing about these is not having a good place to secure the long cord in the vehicle.

This is the third one I purchased in 6 months.
