Took very little time to install. There are many Youtube videos depicting the installation process. It's not necessary to watch one. Once installed, lock works well.

Does exactly what you would expect, has a nice app, works consistently and interacts fully with HomeKit. Very happy.

This is actually our second August Lock. Very easy to install and responsive. Works well with HomeKit. I do not have an August Connect on this one and it's much quicker to respond. The downside, is without the connect you don't get the full August notification that shows the name of the person unlocking the door.

So Easy to install and setup with your smart phone.

Love these. Have for both front and back doors. It opens the door before i get to it with my hands full.

Easy to install and works great with app.. although I cannot get it to work with google home by voice but maybe an update will help with that

i have used many smart locks but this one is by far the best. It has unlocked the door automatically for me every single time. Not one failure.

Works great. The August app is easy to use. Bridge may be required for some applications. This is only a deadbolt which I wish I would've known earlier

I love this lock, it has been super handy! I installed it on our front door and it has been working perfectly.

Does what it is designed for. Functions perfectly. No install instructions were in the package or online. Took some figuring out. It functions fine, but the lack of instructions, images and no online document available for my version was a big fail. It should have only taken 10 minutes to install if there were documents ... it dragged out to close to two hours with all the searching to find documents. I finally figured it out, but only by trial and error.

Program when you get home to unlock the front door bam you walk in your house also works with Alexa you can open and lock the front door

This door lock is amazing love that it will unlock automatically when u approach and relock after a set time also you can use siri and use voice commands

So simple to install and use. Took me 10min top to have everything up and running. Already have sent a couple "keys" and they worked flawlessly

Works automatically about 90% of the time when approaching door. Extremely easy installation. Worked much better after I adjusted the "bubble range" to a larger area. It's recommended to increase your range if you live in a lowrise or high rise building. Not sure why or how that helps but it actually does.

I really like this device. However, it does not require much resistance for it to abort the locking process and come back with a message saying that it cannot lock because it is obstructed. I have ordered the August "tapered" deadbolt from the August website and hope this fixes this minor issue.

Summary says it all. Just gives you one less thing to worry about losing. You can send one time invites to let friends and family access your house.
