While it is convenient to have the lock automatically lock and unlock with your phone, I have had too many problems with this thing. The batteries have gone dead without warning so it's been inoperable. Once it unlocked for no apparent reason, the door swung open and my dog got out. Now, it's finally given me notice of low batteries for three straight days even though I changed them. Enough is enough. I'm putting my regular deadbolt back on.

This works well. The only thing I don't like is the functionality of the app to use it. It can be a bit lanky to try and figure out how to get to the settings for the lock versus the keypad.

I've had this a couple of weeks now and it was working mostly fine until last week. I've changed nothing but now it no longer auto-unlocks when I come home. That was the main reason I bought it. I have been on phone with tech support various times, no solution they offered works. I am now waiting for back-end development team support. That's the problem - waiting and waiting. In the meantime, the only thing that works is auto-lock.

Worked as described no issues with setup or installation.

So i have read the reviews about android not being as good as iPhone. In my experience with the Samsung 8 plus it works great. Very little to now lag between devices when talking to each other. I even bought the august connect to use it with alexa and see the status anywhere when i am. Installation was easy and using the app was easy as well.

This smart lock is great! It connects to Amazon Echo or Apple's HomeKit so you check the status of the lock or open the door from anywhere. My only nit with it is that the battery cover is hard to remove. This is ironic as the cover on the previous model would fall off constantly. It's a rock solid device with a ton of great features.

Great product just changed out one side and works great

Installed this on my home office with a few employees in and out and so far we love it. Installed with pin pad on outside and the wifi connect so I can remotely from anywhere access the lock. So the only thing I have found is occasionally wouldn't want to connect to app but I killed the app reopened and worked great!

Technology at its best this product is very great saves time when the power cuts off you're still able to use it by Bluetooth so no worry about Wi-Fi connectivity all I have to do is carry my phone on me everywhere I go when I return home as long as my phone is all me the door will open can you get any more convenient than that

This is awesome. Idea is genius and so is the product.

One thing I like about this lock is it unlocks before you even make it to the door. One thing I wish it had would be a touch mechanism for entering like the kevo lock does.

I got the entire august system. Everything works great, there are a few glitches here and there but overoverall, it's pretty good compared to others systems.
