Works great with Apple HomeKit and love this product. But it drains the battery so fast and need to change 4AA batteries too often.

I was extremely excited to get this product after reading reviews. First I couldn't install it on the door I wanted to because of how you need to install it. You have to pull out a clip like thing and it wouldn't fit with the window I have. I decided since I really wanted this lock to install it on another door. Installation was simple there. Once installed it took forever to do an update that was required. I don't think the update ever finished. The first time I turned it to try it, it honestly felt like it was going to fall about. In my opinion built very cheap and it should have a nice feel to it for the price.

Very easy to install and works really well with homekit. To use it remotely you can buy an apple tv 4th gen or buy the August doorbell cam. Took less than 20 mins to install

Well at first didnt work with the apple home app and u need it there hub but now ther app got update and u can use the apple home like a hub to control went u not home

The August Smart Lock is the best on the planet. This is my second one. Nice no to have to carry a key. I use it with Apple TV as my hub at both houses.

The lock with the keypad combo was exactly what we were looking for. Now our kids have their own codes that are active at specific times. We love this product.

I would buy this product again to protect my family

Easy to setup, but i could not get it to work with alexa or samaung hub. It works fair but if I got to pull my phone out to open door just as easy to get out key. For the cost it did not make my life better.

The August Lock is a great idea with terrible flaws. Battery life is *painfully* bad and connectivity is spotty. I'd recommend waiting for the next generation of smartlocks before buying.

But I ended up going with Kivo. This does have the option of locking when the phone gets a certain distance from the door.

This is really a great product. Very impressive but I’m looking for a little improvements - to activate/ deactivate the manual mode of opening

The device installation was easy, however the device itself has had connectivity issues where I had to take the battery out twice. Also the app could allow for time related lock/unlock schedules, which it does not, it has limited features.

The lock might have been a good purchase however when I swore I saw my door it looked compatible lol. I went home and found out I was off by dreaming that life is perfect and I had the correct lock on the door. I wish the product was more compatible.

Had the original August lock for 3 years and it decided to go out so went and picked the new one up, love August smart locks.

This lock works great with Siri! I have it set up to automatically lock after 5 minutes. I never have to worry leaving the door unlocked.

It is now very convenient to exit the house and re-enter. I do not need the key anymore. I know when the door has been opened and closed.

Amazing product. Had to order new deadbolt that would fit with smartlock but it was only $8. Well worth it. This item is amazing.

This product works really well, but my wife was not crazy about the Esthetics so we ended up returning it for the Kwikset Kevo.

As a homekit user this lock is the best. Nice being able to leave the house a check that the door is locked. Solid performance
