Works great but batteries but not to crazy about batteries life time

I have my August lock set to auto-lock on exit, and auto unlock when my phone is in range. This is perfect except if I forget my keys and phone when I walk my dogs. This addon is perfect.

It's a little slow but works. Patience needed, especially if you enter the wrong code. I will often find myself thinking I entered the wrong code but didn't. The trouble is, if you start pressing numbers again, it beeps and you have to start over. I said I'd recommend it because I believe you need it if you have the August lock. Simply for cases where your phone is dead, not with you or having some other problem.

I bought it when it was discounted and it’s definitely a great product, it connects great with the August! The only thing is that sometimes it takes a while to process the code, but overall is nice

This is awesome addition to smart lock. I just give my guest a code while they are visiting us, and remove it when they go. It reacts a lot faster than cell phone.

I run an Airbnb and some guests wanted keys in case there phone was lost or died. I was uncomfortable passing out a physical key that could easily be duplicated. Peace of mind is worth every penny!!!

Autolock is great and annoying at the same time. By having the keypad, you don't need your keys or your phone.

I really, and I mean really like the August products. I have the dorr lock, the keypad, the video doorbell and the wifi connector. I had Vivant in my MIchigan house, and like this sooooo much better

Doesn't work all the time, when it works it's great to have

I didn't expect the keypad to be as small as it is but, it seems to work pretty good. We don't use the front door to exit that often but, when we do, it works pretty well.

Easy install, connects to August lock through Bluetooth and needs to be installed close to lock. I can give family members my code, or create codes for others and give them to them.

Nice key pad to have in the garage. No key needed to enter.

The keypad compliments our August Smart Lock and Connect WiFi Bridge - don't need to carry our smart phones or keys to open the door.

I'm on my 3rd replacement sent directly from August, 3 of them the back light sensor doesn't work, batteries run dry after 2 weeks, they told me to change from alkaline to lithium, will try it out, if so they should sell them with lithium and not alkaline

Pairing the keypad to the August Lock needs improvement.

This keypad does not work half of the time. Also, it does NOT work with the connect device. You have to be near it using Bluetooth to assign codes. What's the point if you can't connect to it using wifi like you do the lock? It is VERY frustrating. So much so that I couldn't depend on it for rental customers and had to put a key in a lockbox outside. I wouldn't purchase this again.
