This is a great lock Works great for me Only wish it had a keypad on it

I bought this smart lock for Christmas and it was on sale and I wanted to try it out and see what's the whole fuzz is all about. So far, it works but it has it's moments where it's hit or miss. I think this lock needs an update to make it work better with its hub.

I returned this lock because it was very loud as it was locking and unlocking. It sounded like it was truly struggling to function and I was worried it would break or that I wouldn’t feel comfortable using the auto-lock feature, never knowing if the product would actually move the deadbolt or not. The design was a little bulkier than expected and the style didn’t look as nice as I had hoped. I purchased and installed the Yale lock with August and had much better luck with that although the bridge has been giving me more and more issues with connecting to my phone for remote access

i have a problem with auto unlock. sometimes it doesnt register at all or it would get stuck on the unlocking bar. It is not my wifi. it also connects via bluetooth and it does the same thing.

Took over an hour to install due to poor instructions. Thankfully they have great live tech support 24/7. One nice feature is you can continue to use your old house key.

Bought this smart lock for the front door however it didn’t work with Apple home so I returned bought the smart lock pro instead

It's a wifi lock that works the majority of the time, however, there were times where the deadbolt didn't go all the way in.

Lock is okay. It works does its job. However the connect is trash. Lost connection to the WiFi and won’t reconnect. I’ve been fighting with august for a month now and I cannot get a replacement. Bad bad customer service.

Unfortunately this lock does not work as promised. Very unreliable half the time it works and the other half the time it doesn't work. Always make sure you have your key with you do not rely on this lock. Does not work well with Bluetooth and it is supposed to.

Three things I love about this lock. 1- Ability to use a key in case WiFi and Bluetooth don’t work (odds of both going out slim to none). 2- Auto unlock and lock feature rocks! 3- Easiness of setting up multiple users (owners). Instructions are easy to follow which made the install a breeze. I love how as soon as I pull up to the driveway the lock unlocks. Makes opening the door with my hands full so much easier. Would recommend this lock to anyone!

I purchased the August Smart lock about 4 months ago and wish I had bought the one I originally wanted. I had originally looked at the Kwikset Touch-to-Open which had what I wanted, not needing to use a key. I am sure like many others will come home with full arms and being able to just touch the lock would be great. The salesperson pointed out that the August - Wi-Fi Deadbolt Replacement Smart Lock - Satin Nickel. With this lock all you needed was your smartphone and it would unlock as you got close to it, therefore NOT needing you key or even having to touch the lock. Don't believe it, if you own an Android phone. I have done everything I can think of but still no luck. Well I shouldn't say no luck I think it has worked 3 or 4 times in these 4 months. I still need my key or no go, the door stays locked. Maybe it works better with an I phone but I will never own one of those. Don't waste your hard earned money or believe the sales people, I'm sure they mean well but this time they were wrong. I will probably be buying a Kwikset soon and throwing this piece of junk in the trash.

Good lock, functional, at times deadbolt does not insert all the way. It's good for what it does and the features. However, the biggest concern that I would tell others to look elsewhere, the battery life on this lock is TERRIBLE. I've purchased this lock DEC 23 and it's Now FEB 26 and I'm getting ready to replace the batteries with it's THIRD SET!!! Not practical or efficient at all

This product is horrible. 90% of the time it won't connect and you're left outside force stopping the app trying to get it to connect to let you in your house. If you're hoping to hurry up and open your door in the rain just plan on getting soaked. I would not recommend junk this at all.
