I was able to use this with ease, I had a video on YouTube of someone else setting it up because I don't really know how to use OBS studio well so I was able to stream it. The only sad part I have no viewers lol. I set it up wrong originally, then I used my other monitor so I can use that one for the computer and the other one for the switch. Works very good for recording to SD card, while streaming to a computer there is a little lag in OBS, but none on the TV, easy to use, really good quality for the price!

If you are streaming content this is a great option. It is small in size, and software is great. Will record standalone with touch of button

This worked great for me, except my setup didn't like the audio. I was attempting to use this to stream my PC game to my iMac computer. The video was great and OBS recognized it with out issue. It however needed to have the headphones plugged into the headphone jack for me to hear anything. I wanted to use my Artic5 headset, and there wasn't enough power to push through the headset. So I returned, but if I had this for my xBox or PS4, it would have worked great streaming to my iMac.

I can't believe we bought this in August 2020. Our daughter has been using this to capture audio/video from her gameplay on the Nintendo Switch, and it works flawlessly. She's able to edit the video on her PC and share with friends on Youtube very easily. It's small and simple to use, and the only downside (and it's a tiny one), is the unit is always lit (blue when in use and red when not). Anyway, we highly recommend it!

Easy to used. Setup was quick but instructions required online which is confusing to look for. Instructions that came with is just for hooking up. Overall product is great. Love the switch that allow to transfer files without removal of micro SD card. Record without a PC is a plus. Can be used on PC while playing games RE-Central is awesome.

I usually stick to elgato for my capture card needs but they were sold out. I am very pleased to say this product works great and looks fantastic on screen with the 4k pass through on my PS4 pro. Streaming there’s no hiccups at all and I’m very happy with the build quality and softwhere. You can even slap a ss card in it and record without using your pc!

I already use this devices to capture and record videos from my Xbox for make YouTube videos. It's easy to use and does not require a PC to capture video. You can also stream from this if you connect it to a PC. This is my second one I purchase, as this one is for my grandson who only wanted "One of those device like Grandpa so I can make YouTube videos too!" So Christmas gift on it's way.

I'm using this to record gameplay from my Sega Genesis Mini and it works like a charm. Footage looks sharp and it's easy to set up. One tip that I learned is to use a good usb power plug. I used an old one at first and it wasn't working, so I tried a new one and it worked great.

The quality is amazing. I connect it up to my Xbox one. Easy to use. Instruction pamphlet could be better. However, once you figure it out this capture device has saved me so much time. It records both sides of chat perfectly also, along with recording game audio.

It works but not easy to use. Hard to understand. Very quirky. PC app is buggy. You have to have a lot of patience. Poor documentation. Responsive customer support by email.

Very easy to hook up. I am currently usingvon my PS4 to record gameplay, then edit in adobe premiere. Works well, as intended. Plenty of information on line, love that I can record without pc then download and edit.

Alright so I’m gonna be honest... if they just fixed up how to even use this thing aka putting an actual manual in the box then this product would get five stars. Also the program it comes with sucks (at least for me who’s using a Mac laptop). Instructions could be clearer BUT: Once I got it figured out it’s been smooth sailing ever since! I use a Macbook Air 2015 to stream my games using Streamlabs. THE EASIEST THING EVER. This product is so nice and honestly I don’t even record my stuff so it literally is plug and play no need for a microSD. It does have that option though if you need it. Great option for anyone who wants little to no hassle recording/streaming games especially for Mac users!

was easy to use and set up with no prior experience. I was able to live stream a wedding from a drone to a DVR receiver that plugged into this guy and made the recording possible and in great quality

Amazing quality. Easy to use. Plug it in download the app and your set. Don't forget to turn off hdcp if using a console (in console settings) or else you'll be wanting to return this for no reason lol

When I got this product, at first, I had many issues with it. It wouldn't show anything on my PS5, PC Free mode wouldn't work, and overall, it was just inconvenient. To get around those issues, you need to turn off HDCP on the console you are recording footage on, for it to show anything. You need to format your microSD card to exFAT to get it to work with the capture card. And you may/will need to install updates/patches from the website to fix possible other issues. Other than that, it's actually pretty good.

This device is plug and play ready. It makes great recordings by simple touch of the button while allowing up to 4K pass through without latency or quality degradation. Worth every penny!

I needed this to stream my gameplay from a Nintendo Switch. The video pass-through is great with no lag (haven’t tried 4K). Works with OBS without any issues. Very happy with it!

Needed this for doing a livestream via Zoom using multiple cameras. Setup was pretty simple and no issues with hooking up different camera bodies to it.

Works great right out the box. The process was very easy and I like the quality. So far so good. The PC free mode is my favorite so far.
