I would leave a 2 because it won’t capture iphone gameplay or ps4 gameplay. The copyright protection is flawed and its annoying. The system software can hiccup sometimes and not detect the capture card. Since this is very situational flaws, I gave a 5 star because its wonderful overall. 1080p capture, 4k output to TV.

I had seen some sketchy/dodgy online reviews about the camlink connectors, but this seemed to garner more favor from the linux crowd, and so far, have no been disappointed.

Great for Streaming Games Online

We watched a video online about how it works, and while I was reluctant at first, watching her play with her friends during quarantine is worth it. She is very happy with the performance of this device.

Another product had been highly recommended, however, it was unavailable from any vendor. So, we tried this alternate product. We have had great success with this product. It was easy to set up and install, and it does exactly what we need for it to do.

4K PASSTHROUGH NOT RECORDING

The max you get is the 1080P when recording. With the limits on bandwidth and streaming/video uploading, it will definitely not hinder any livestream or whatever you might use it for via streaming.
