Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack is a cool set of two games on one cartridge at an affordable price. It's a side strolling 2 D shooter that's just fun. Fun anywhere. Thank you Nintendo Switch. I'm sure you can go online and see game-play footage and get the full gist of the game, but coming from a guy that just simply wants to play a nice game on the go or in my bed, this one will do the trick. as difficult as you need it to be or as simple as a pick up a play can get. i enjoyed the side strolling aspect and the crazy, off the wall story as only Japan can provide. Now that leads to the only problem I have with the game. It's not localized for English. However, this is a good thing, as the voice acting is so much more intense in the original language. You can read the subtitles at your leisure, so you can still enjoy the crazy story. I enjoyed it and my friends enjoyed as well. If you're interested at all, give it a shot. It won't set you back much cash and you'll get two games. Now go check out those other reviews on your way to the register.

Anyone who enjoyed these games or is a series fan, is gonna love this game. You get the first and second game from the 3DS together in one pack including the DLC, awesome. This is a must have for Gunvolt fans.

Azure Striker Gunvolt is an amazing action game. Clearly descended from fans of the Mega Man X series, its got great controls, great visuals, and great action. This baby is pitch perfect. Get it and get it now, you won't be disappointed.

Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack contains the high points of Inti Creates' oeuvre. The sequel included is easily the headliner of the two, bursting with content and generally being the much better designed title. The action is really addictive with playability being very tight and responsive. It's hard to let go of the game because it feels so good to play it. To find any big flaws in these would entail mostly petty nitpicks as they stand to be exemplary entries in the run and gun genre. Them being on Nintendo Switch only means that the action does not have to stay at home.

Inspired by the Mega Man X titles, these are still their own games. Both AZG 1 and 2 are fun additions to the Switch's portable catalog. You don't need to play these docked at all.

Due to this game being a port from the DS, the graphics seem sub par but look great when improved to 60 fps. The game also improves on the menu system compared to the computer port. Very well done

I read a lot of reviews comparing this game to Mega Man (and that some MM creators had worked on it) and it's true. Azure Striker Gunvolt definitely carries the spirit of Mega Man. You race through stages defeating enemies until you encounter the stage boss. It has a decent story and I think the graphics on the Switch have a great 16-bit style feel but still look great on a modern console. Try it out!

I got this game for Christmas and I very much enjoy it. It is a collection of 2 side scrolling action platformers which remind me vaguely of Mega Man X. I believe they were originally on PC but they're the perfect type of game for the Switch.

These games a fantastic and have a slightly different take on the third person side scrolling shooter. If you are into mega man type games, you will like this

As soon as the title menu music started blaring, I knew I would enjoy this game, This anime style sidescrolling, platforming, beat em up (or shoot em up) is absolutely fantastic, The closest thing I could compare it to would be the first few Mega Man games, but in my opinion it’s much better. Overall I would say this is a need to have on the switch.

Excellent value in getting two games in one cart and the game is very fun, very Mega Man X like but also very different and challenging.

While I havent had a chance to physically get my hands on a controller to play, I have watched my son play and this is amazing. Classic feel. Glad I bought.
