Great album. There's a reason they won a grammy. Even though most of the songs sound similar they are still a pleasure to listen to.

Sounds much like first album but with some darker themes.

after listening thru the CD completely the style of music was not what I prefer.

"Babel" is the sophomore album from Mumford & Sons. It is just as amazing as "Sigh No More". These songs are not as haunting but still have the awesome banjo and folk vibe that takes Bluegrass/Irish traditional and puts a bit of rock to make the fresh sound that has been lacking in contemporary music for a long time. This album is like going home again. It is a beautiful look into the souls of these 4 men.

I''d heard about Mumford and sons but hadn't heard any of their music until the Grammy awards. I listened to some of their songs on iTunes on the Babel cd and liked them so much I purchased the CD. A fresh and enjoying sound that I can listen to over and over again.

What's great about it: Made girl happy Cannot really say as this was a gift, but hearing no negative feedback from it. Go for it. I would recommend this to a friend!
