If you are looking for a great co-op zombie game to play with your friends then this is it but there are some draw backs that you should be aware of before you purchase. This game requires a constant internet connection even when playing solo, but when you are playing on solo, there is no progress that carries over. In this game you unlock cards and supply points but only when you are playing with others online. This is a problem because you need cards and supply points to progressive, especially inn the harder modes. Apparently the developers are going to patch that in. The game has only 2 modes which is the campaign and swarm mode, but each chapter feels really short and I don't see swarm mode being something that is going to captivate most. There is also an issue with the game not having a lot of variety in terms of weapons but there are lots of customization options with attachments. Another problem is that the ai in this game is not great and the game needs serious balancing. Easy is way too easy, and the harder difficulties are much more difficult to the point that you need to play the game on easy first to get better cards to be able to get through them. Maybe this was intended by the developers and I love a good challenge, but the game is seriously punishing unless you have better cards. The game isn't bad but it's definitely not meant for solo players as the ai is no help and playing with random people can be even more frustrating. If you have games pass, then this is absolutely worth playing but I think the game is way too expensive for the state that it's in. At $30 I'd be more than willing to pay for it but for $60, this game falls short. I won't lie though that the game has me hooked and I'm really enjoying it, but that's because I have friends to play with. If you can get it through game pass then go for it but if not, wait for a sale. One thing I'll give it to the developers is that crossplay is awesome. I'm playing through gamepass on pc with a friend on gamepass on X1 and 2 others on PS5. This is a standard feature that should be in all online games moving forward. I hope this review helps and I definitely feel like this game has a lot of potential, but I believe in reviewing games as they are, not what they can be.
