It’s a fun addition to make games portal. It pushes you to sign up for a service (I think 3.99 a month) but you can skip it. Doesn’t work with every app but is comparable with the most popular ones I use. After a month, still figuring out how to make it fully work with my PlayStation account, but I can chop that up to user ignorance.

I just upgraded to iPhone 15 Pro so i had to upgrade my Backbone. This new backbone feels better in hand and the buttons feels more solid. But the biggest thing is that i don’t have to take off my Apple case to play anymore! I am playing twice as much as before because of this upgraded feature

This is a great product and very easy to use and much more convenient than bring a whole controller around. The charge port is great to so you dont kill your battery. The only reason this doesnt get 5 stars is due to the fact that you get blasted with advertisements for backbone plus. Idk why anyone would sign up for a plan for a controller.

Gaming on the go! Being able to travel and game on car ride, plane and/or bus making the time go fast!

Nothing wrong with the product it's just not impressive. My son loved this at first but grew out of it quickly. Apparently there's also a backbone app that needs to be downloaded and the subscription is $40 for a year.

Purchase the Backbone controller from BestBuy, I can say with my overall experience and testing it out, it works great tons of apps and games you can play using a controller. The Backbone PlayStation controller is awesome for iOS but then you can also connect it to a iPad or Mac computer without using a phone connected super awesome and great product and the price is solid for it.

Love this thing works great, makes playing call of duty mobile on your phone a game changer. It’s a must for first person shooter games. I even use it to play Roblox with my kids sometimes.

It’s very useful for what it is used it for about a week took it back and got the new PlayStation portal.

I have a laptop and a ps5 controller that works better, latency is rough especially over wifi or mobile data, if thats all you can use then yeah its great, if not download the remote play apps on a laptop, hard wire it, and get lower latency that way

My boys loved this, but have recently upgraded their phones so we will have to buy new ones that have the usb-c connector and not the lightning.

Bought this unit for a 10 day vacation. Helped me fill in the times of the trip where I’m awake and everyone else is sleep. I could game on this with my headphones and not disturb anyone else. I get up much earlier than everyone so this was great for me to have something to do that was not bothersome.

I was very excited to get this product as i use remote play on playstation alot, i thought it would be as uncomfortable for my hands like the nintendo switch but its not i can play for hours! Comes with a 1 year trial for the backbone subcription which is great. And Now to the loud buttons, they are very loud you defenitley dont wanna take this to a quiet area because you will annoy everyone lol, i like playing gta so in the game when you sprint you tend to rapidly click X and that can get annoying unless you have something drowning out the sound. Wish they could of made them alot quieter because now i cant use it at my office or ill annoy coworkers with the clicky sound. So i dont recommend it for people planning to use in quiet areas unless the game doesnt require using triangle, square, X and circle constantly. For example call of duty could work for quiet areas as you only use R2 and L2 and reload with square once in a while.

Its given me the option if just downloading and trying out so many games. Remote play is hard going from a PC or console to your phone but you get used to it fast with some games. But mobile games 100% worth it if your constantly on it. Perfect for being at work on your break and just relaxing on the toilet for 2 hours 10/10

If you want to travel and game go for it Ps5 must be on or in rest mode. Games can be played using your phone iPhone 6 and up (there’s an adapter) may have to take your case off If you have a disk game you can play that one but if you have downloaded games thats the best way to use this. You can also connect to App Store and Xbox

Nothing is better than using a controller on a phone. Gaming made easier through this peripheral. Now that i dont have time to play on console the controller for iphone helps me get back into the gaming life.

Amazing! I bought for a road-trip unaware of just how much I would love this. I use it so much now even at home. If using solely for phone games then not worth the $100, but if paired with the ps remote play or Xbox cloud gaming then definitely a must buy. Must have thin case to use with it, or you will be removing from case to play often.

My kids absolutely love this controller from its ease of use to all the games and apps you can add. It’s basically a Xbox or PlayStation on the go. I wish I would have seen these sooner backbone would have saved me a a grand or so.

The PlayStation Backbone is amazing. I’ve been using it for about two months now and my kids use the TV constantly while I can use my Backbone and I gotta say it works very well. Very sleek Very great
