It works fine does what is supposed to do. Only problem is you can’t use it with a phone case and if you have a Pro Max series iPhone, it doesn’t fit well. It would be nice if it was bigger to be able to fit on a iPad

Wasn’t sure how well this would work with my PS five and the functionality of it to be honest. Turns out, this is an amazing product. I thought there would be some distortions with the image just because I’m using an iPhone but the image quality is just as good.

Works great; missing a couple trigger buttons, which is the only reason why I returned it. You can still fully play your games, which is awesome! I just prefer to have all button options accessible.

I use this for when it is terribly slow at my job and it is amazing! I love that there is no input lag at all! Just make sure you have a good internet connection if your using it for steam link or remote ps5 gameplay

Great form factor for my smartphone and a much cheaper alternative to the Portal when I bought this at a $69 price point. Not as comfortable as a dual sense controller, but great for short bursts of remote play gaming when away from your PS5.

The app is not free. You will get 1 year of usage for free then its a subscription. The controller is fine. I think it worked great without a case. Its a little too tight if you have a thin case. Backbone should consider making changes to allow people to use large cases like Otterbox.

Love having the option to play on my mobile device

The backbone buttons and analog sticks feels great to me. It was easy to use and wasn’t hard to set up. The only issue have is that it redirect or ask to a lot to sign up for their backbone membership.

It’s frustrating to find out that the Backbone app locks its best features behind a monthly subscription (Backbone+). While the controller itself is a great 'plug-and-play' hardware device, the app’s paywall for core functions like the unified game hub, streaming to Twitch, and wired mode for other screens makes it feel less like a one-time purchase and more like a recurring expense. If you just want a simple controller without the extra overhead, this subscription requirement is definitely a dealbreaker.
