Love it I can play games on the go whether I’m outside or any place I can play as long as I have Wi-Fi

I am really enjoying this controller for my phone. I can access my xbox cloud games as well as play anything from theGoogle play store. Really glad i bought this!

Fun while on the run, the backbone allows you to play your games while away from your console through your cell phone.

Works great on iphone 15, with a case by Dbrand I simply didnt use any of the controller’s adapters. Had to remove the ones on it. Works on all the games I’ve tried it on. Only issue I’m running into is when you try to charge and use it at the same time sometimes itll disconnect… might be the power source I’m using.

I have the 1st gen version of this controller but had to update to the 2nd vedsion with the usb-c connector after upgrading to thw iphone 16 Pro Max. This controller makes it easier to use my phone with my current case with the defachable extenders for different sized phones. As always i can still remote play Xbox and Steam/PC. PS is a little harder as the PS Remote play app requires a Dual Sense controller in order ti remote play. Overall though, this controller is a pretty good controller choice for mobile gaming. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

Whether playing mobile games or using with Playstation connect, this device is awesome! Buttons have great action and inlove the pass through charging from the side of the controller. Amazing for gaming on long flights. Cant recommend enough.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my husband and he has not stopped using since. Great buy for the gamer on the go.

This item works with phone cases and large phones it also has more functionality than any controller that can go on phones on the market it also has a premium build quality and sturdy construction also great button feel and great stick control perfect for on-the-go gaming and emulation as well it's my daily go-to mobile gaming setup.

Fist i love it it could play my favorite games but 40 bucks a month or a year why.

This is actually the third Backbone controller that we have purchased through Best Buy, not because anything is wrong with our other 2 controllers, but because we like having them for all of our phones. We love that this controller allows us to hook our phone up to it with our phone case still on the phone. We love the response time of the controller to the phone, along with how easy it is to connect to our Samsung phones.

Convenient and easy to use device that can be traveled with. I enjoy using it when I need to be away from home for hours or days. Comfortable hand-held and audio is suffice.

This controller is so intuitive has pre mapped settings for Triple A FPS titles like fortnite and call of duty the pass through charging is a great feature so you charge and play at the same time. The added adapters ensure secure fit with most smartphone . 5 star would definitely recommend

The backbone has been a grate addition to my console collection, its allowed me to play my games and do my daily's on the go and whenever i need to, i would recommend

I tried out the Backbone and Gamersir G8 Plus for my mobile gaming needs. The Backbone is great for mobile gaming. It is small and light compared to the Gamersir G8 Plus. The big plus is passthrough charging. The controls feel like switch controllers, which may be a downside for some. It is only compatible with certain cases for the iPhone 16 Pro Max. In the end, I picked the Gamesir G8 Plus. Despite giving up the passthrough charging, I preferred the feel of an actual controller. Also, I have a bulky case and did not want to switch and/or take my case off every time I wanted to use a controller. The Backbone is great for those who: -Want a small and light controller -Have a compatible case -Want passthrough charging

The Backbone controller is one of the best plug-and-play devices for turning your phone into a handheld gaming console. The concept is excellent, and the device worked seamlessly—when it worked. I really enjoyed the gaming experience while it was functional. However, like many other users, I encountered an issue with the left-side joystick/buttons. They stopped responding after a while. I attempted to request a refund/replacement, but the process was frustrating. I submitted the request once, but was told it was rejected due to selecting the wrong color in the return form. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to go through the process again. In short, while the Backbone offers a great user experience and innovative design, there appear to be some hardware reliability issues—particularly with the left-side controls. It’s disappointing that I couldn't get a replacement, because I would have definitely continued using it. Still, I think it's a great product with a lot of potential—just needs better quality control and customer support.
