I really liked how easy it was to set up! It is literally plug and play. All you have to do is put your phone in, and any games that have controller support immediately work with a layout that feels natural. The backbone app is incredibly useful as well! It’s exceptionally good at easily putting all your games in one place.

I got this instead of the Playstation Portal or the Steam deck. mainly because this can do both with PS Remote Play and Steam Link. I wish the buttons were a bit bigger but it does the job when I'm not at home.

This is one of my favorite gadgets. I work an odd schedule, and being able to game during downtime is perfect. I pretty much rake it everywhere. The website for the company has a list of cell phone cases you can get that are compatible with it, so you don't hace to take your case off to use it.

Ive had a great experience with the backbone for playstation on my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra! Call of duty at work has never been easier! The backbone is easy to carry and easy to pop on and off of my device! Takes a little getting used to the difference in size compared to a regular controller but it is definitely a dream come true for myself.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my husband and he was so thrilled to try it out and he loved it! He is self employed and loves taking it to work when he has down time or even in the car while I am taking the kids into doctor appointments. It really is a neat thing to buy!

Purchased this controller for remote gameplay while traveling. This has met all expectations! Once i get connected to my PS5, the controller does everything my controller does that is connected to my PS5. The sticks are tight and the buttons are very responsive. I would definitely recommend for any user cosidering the backbone controller.

I’m surprised by how well this works, but if you have a USB-C iPhone, definitely get the 2nd gen—the magnetic swap-outs are essential for a proper fit. The controller feels great overall, but the start and select button placement is awkward and takes some getting used to. Also, the app is terrible—it nags you to subscribe every time you open it. If you can put up with that, the hardware itself is solid and makes mobile gaming way better.

Honestly I never thought I’d really use this besides when traveling but WOW! I use this at least once a week. Super fun to be able to play any of my games anywhere in my house especially when others are using the TV.

Its ikay,but it says 8t works on PlayStation remote,but it doesn't. Some games it says it would work it doesn't, my old Xbox 360 controller works better then this . Its feel comfortable to my large man hands . It doesn't feel cheap. The games it does work, work fine. There still not many android or other third party games that support thiss controller. Is it worth 99.00? No, probably 40.00 dollar. Even , Backbone app when log in is really buggy. I feel the app was just slap together, sloppy! Get a cheap Xbox 360 controller and a tablet, you probably be 0lay more games without any trouble. Backbone lies about all the different platforms it supports.

I bought this for my husband as he will be away from home for work and he wanted to play his xbox games but understandably didn't find bringing the big boy feasible. I bought him the backbone for his Android phone (Samsung s24 Ultra) and he is very very pleased with it. It attaches to the phone easily and the buttons are very responsive. He loves how compact it is and easy it will be to take with him without worrying about it taking up too much space. The only thing he mentioned was that my husband wishes he could keep his phone case on while the backbone was being used (he has a thick, heavy duty case due to the nature of his job) but I have heard no other complaints. I will note: like many other mobile devices for xbox/PS5/steam etc there is sometimes a lag (sometimes a consistent mild lag) but that is to be expected at this point for these devices. I'm also sure what internet you are connected to or how strong your data connection with your phone etc as well as the phone itself will affect this aspect more or less depending. Overall, however, I am pleased with my gift purchase :)

I’ve bought this this three times but I still love it. Specially certain buttons just die completely. Like my left two triggers. By downward D-pad and it constantly causes phone to screenshot. I would try the pro but I’d feel crazy paying that much.

I've seen a lot of ads for this device and decided to give it a try. It's a game changer if you have an Xbox with the cloud gaming service. Works great from the Xbox streaming. Impressed with the quality and it doesn't even need power to use. COD Mobile is very console like with this controller. Would buy again
