I have used it for almost two months now. It is a great game controller. Very easy to setup, plugged it in my samsung galaxy s24, detected automatically and worked nicely with my ppsspp emulator. It is much better compared to all the other phone game controllers that I have used. The buttons feel great, the sensitivity is good, seems very durable so far.

Absolutely amazing, gen one I couldn't use a case and the subscription drives me crazy but with the second gen being able to use with a case, the style of the white PlayStation addition, and the updates to the paid app... So worth the extra money spent. And it works with Genshin Impact on Android!!! A must pick up for any gamer especially mobile or cloud gamers like me!!

I works great. It fits my S24 Ultra with a case and is easy to pull off too. Controls are good overall, very similar feel to a Nintendo Switch. Though it has a better d pad. One knock is you have to pay for the touch controls mapper utility and it does not work with all apps. Otherwise it works great.

TL;DR - Unless you get it on sale, this left more to be desired for the price. Stopped working a year into light use. I had this controller for just about a year, I used it lightly, but I just returned it under my total membership because the left side of the controller just stopped working (a common issue with this controller apparently) I was going to get another one, but decided to go with the Gamesir G8 Galileo instead. Overall, this was a nice enough controller, I liked how compact it was, making it very portable to take with me anywhere. It allowed me to connect to PSRemote Play fairly seamlessly, which was a bonus for me, that and I appreciated the Playstation layout (and color). It was also a big bonus to me that I could insert my phone (Samsung Galaxy s24+) into it without removing the case, which was a big plus for me. The things that I didn't quite like was that after awhile, your hands would become fatigued from holding it. And although it would hold my phone with its case on, it always felt like my phone would slide up and down at an angle, so it never felt quite secure. That and the telescopic backing felt quite flimsy at times. The buttons and joysticks felt clicky and cheap at times, but that could just be my taste. The subscription to backbone is not necessary, so I wouldn't waste your money on that. You should be able to play any of your games immediately after plugging in your phone. Overall, the controller itself is nice, but for the price, it left me wanting more. I've since bought the Gamesir G8 Galileo as it's about $20 cheaper and feels sturdier and more customizable versus the Backbone. It's not quite as portable but the price difference and quality feels significantly better than it did with the Backbone. I'll do a review on the G8 after using it longer.

Great controller. Fits with a ton of different cases, better trigger buttons than the V1.

Controller has a good feel, easy to set up. The response of the control is fast and smooth. Comes with a couple adapters for different phones sizes and cases which is cool. There is a subscription to have all the featues with the backbone app. (You get a one month free) but isnt needed to enjoy playing or straming games.

I had to buy this new version for my son because the previous one wasn’t compatible to his iPhone 15 (that was the downside) I got him the first one for Christmas and he loved it! Didn’t/doesn’t have to haul his play consoles along every time we go out of town. This does the job even during the ride. I did good lol

Works Great! Fits and holds the phone amazingly. Doesn't slip and has awesome control.

I personally dont like phone games. But i purchass it for my wife so she could have an easier time playing her games. The controls and the set up is easy. She has an iphone 15 plus and it fits perfectly

Good for mobile gaming via App Store, steam, ps, Xbox, etc. definitely an upgrade for comfort and phone fitting from the first generation. For the price I think it’s pretty decent

Not only was it on sale the design was excellent for on the go gaming and great to attaching for your smart phone. I definitely recommend this especially if your a on the go gamer or need a sub for new controller.

Gifted this to my adult child for Christmas and they loved it. Made gaming on the go a lot more fun! I would definitely recommend it.

This product is a perfect companion for smartphones. with better portability than standard console bluetooth controllers, it leaves the house with me daily just in case i have time to kill and want to game.

This Backbone works way too well. Easy setup, great controls, and now my phone is no longer a phone. Five stars, I guess.

Buttons and sticks are responsive, feels like an actual DualSense. A direct upgrade from my Razer Kishi. Customizable cushioning allows use of a case. (Tip: use the thicker cushion for the left side of the device for the Galaxy Z Flip series, the magnets that holds the cushions together confuses the ones in the device, making thexphone think its closed.)

Love this product convenient to use as i travel alot dor work and i am able to play my games while im at airport etc

Works good for gaming. Recommend this for a teenager or small child.
