Excellent little device to take with you on the bus, to work for your breaks and on vacation. Very fast, reliable and plays every game with buttons!

I'm docking a star because this did not work out of the box with my iPhone 15 Pro. I had to go through and connect it to an Android device first and launch the app. I believe this updates the firmware. But that is absolute nonsense for a product that is literally labeled as the 2nd generation that SUPPORTS the iPhone 15 series. I've read that this impacts a small number of units. But I literally just got this a few days ago. That rant aside, it works really well. It definitely has a Nintendo Switch joy-con feel to it especially with the analog stick placement. I do wish it had some grip to it. It almost feels like it's going to slip out of my hand like butter at any moment. If it feels awkward to connect your phone to it, I'd read the instructions on the Backbone website. It made a lot more sense once I did it the intended way. Could just be a me thing. I'm dumb sometimes. lol The passthrough 3.5mm audio jack is a really nice touch. It does also have a USB-C passthrough for charging I believe, but I haven't had to use it yet. (iPhone 15 Pro battery is kinda awesome) I don't use a phone case, so I don't know how well it works with one. I've heard it can be hit or miss. I believe there are specific compatible cases you can get that work with this. I'd see the Backbone website for that. As a side note, if you're using a controller on your phone for the first time, try something like Minecraft first. I've noticed that some games require you go through their touch screen tutorial before you can even use a controller which is just silly. Minecraft doesn't. That's not the controller's fault and that might leave you with a false impression that it doesn't work. Overall, it's really cool. A bit expensive. But I think I'm gonna really enjoy having this the next time I have to sit and wait for car repairs. (It's inevitable...)

I no longer need to take my Playstation on trips with me. Even in the car on a mobile hotspot it works quicker than youd expect. Being able to play my phone games is a huge plus too

Feels sturdy in the hands, works seamlessly, you don’t need to use the app at all. May be a bit small for those with larger hands, but it’s working out perfectly for myself.

The backbone makes mobile gaming so much easier than using your fingers. Especially on first person shooters. My only wish is that they made a bigger size.

It's nice and neat and somewhat easy to use had to get used to where the joycon was.Good for offline/story mode games, not so good for online games. And it's good for where you're bored and you're not at home.

This is a great product easy to use the apps are easy to install. It expands nicely to fit all phones. Can charge your device at the same time as using it.

This is way better than the Switch and costs so much less. Got the Switch to relax when I'm on the go but Mario kart proved to be too hype for my heart rate, and cost of their other games are ridiculous considering some need internet connection so can only be played with WiFi. And can only use their charger and tv adapters The backbone is super easy to set up and can be used anywhere, I can play all my PS games plus others from Xbox live and my phone. Doesn't need to be charged, very light and portable. Such a great value. Wish they had the PS version in black but the gray gives original PS nostalgia vibes so I'm still happy!

Bought this to use with my iphone to mostly play emulators on my phone. It is great quality and easy to set up. Definitely rexommend.

Amazing for bringing PlayStation games to your phone. Makes long car rides easier! But it’s seamless and easy to use. App is easy to navigate.

Bought this product so I could continue to use my Xbox while away from the house. Thankfully I picked up this controller for that purpose and it works great! I use it all the time and it in so convenient how it lets you charge your phone through it and it adds a headphone jack for some serious gaming sessions!

It’s good, light and easy to use device that does its job. The main problem is ergonomics. Especially if you have larger hands. Handles lack of thickness and not very comfortable to use for longer sessions.

For on the go gaming it's perfect! Streaming feels way better with the backbone in hand! And as well the free month of game pass I got with it id totally recommend buying this :)

Works great, but wish I didn't need to PlayStation version to quick launch PlayStation remote play easily.
