Great product for gaming on the Go my kids love them

If you want to go hand held you're better off getting a controller to bluetooth to your phone. It gives you the ability to have all your gaming software in 1 place.. cool... but for a monthly subsciption. You want to use the handheld on your tablet? Oh you can!.... if you are paying the subscription monthly price... at the end of the day, you adding up all these monthly subsciptions it gets expensive. Xbox ultimate pass, playstation, nvidia geforce now, etc... with all these plus your monthly subscription this company wants to charge you, you'd be paying $100-$200 monthly JUST to have everything on your phone in 1 place.... no thanks.

Awesome product for being able to play PS5 games on my phone like a Mobile PS device! This the the device PS should have created years ago instead of the PSP!

Just perfect for me! Works with all games that I’ve tried, particularly on emulator games.

This is my second Backbone product and it works flawlessly with my 15 Pro Max. I just want the PS Remote Play to be a little bit better but I’ll settle for this since it’s a lot cheaper than the portal and I can use my device with it. Also works for the pixel fold. 

I love this for gaming on the go or at work on break

Product used to work great. Bought it last April(2024) and played it and loved it for about 2 months Until I got my Nintendo Switch. I recently gave my Switch to my youngest and picked my Backbone controller back up. I bought my Backbone controller on April 17, 2024. Yesterday the audio on my Samsung S24 Ultra kept switching off when I was trying to play Call of Duty. I tried to turn up the volume and noticed my phone had switched to Bluetooth. This was something plugging in the controller triggered. Even when I turned off my phone’s Bluetooth the controller’s glitching would still switch the audio output to Bluetooth. I even unpaired all my Bluetooth connected devices so it would have nothing to pair to. I thought this would prevent it from switching from the phone’s audio. It didn’t help and it still caused the same problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Backbone app several times today and not only do I still have the audio issues but now my phone is registering the controller as having several buttons pressed even when no buttons are pressed and this starts immediately anytime I connect the Backbone controller.

You really do get what you pay for, great PS like game play and for the price you pay I feel like they really did do something good here.Could use some work the minor lagging really could mess up your in-game experience.

Controls spot on and responsive and felt comfortable in hand. However returned because was not compatible with my phone case and the inconvenience of having to remove and reinstall case outweighed using the controller.

My son love his backbone. It was a belated birthday gift.

Good grip, works really well and very entretaining.

For those who like video games and cannot carry their consoles, this product is very good.

Perfect for gaming on the go. I own this and the playstation portal, and while this doesn't have the biggest screen(due to it being limited by your phone size) it's still nice for playing on the go both over wifi and a data connection.

Honestly always loved this controller. Each time I get one, I sell it and end up buying another one. This time since it’s a PlayStation edition I’ll keep it for years!

Its crazy how simple this device is and yet it works pretty flawlessly. I have no complaints. Works great for alot of single player games. I play my steam games and PS5 games with little to no issues.

Had to buy a new slimmer phone case but works as intended with no issues.

Pretty much the playstation portal before the playstation portal i love that its more compact i can play my ps5 games remotley i can also play xbox games i bought the game pass just for this reason i love it if your looking to buy this go ahead and do it
