Of course, most people (including myself) won't have any method of checking accuracy. It does seem relatively accurate judging by my knowing myself & my limits. It seems to drain it's battery very fast, however, so I'd recommend pulling the battery when not in use. Also, it sometimes missed it's own prompts (maybe because of battery life?) In that it says "blow" but is still in its "warm-up" phase. Like I said, it's a good tool & with having a reference. Way cheaper than a dui or dwi.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.All you have to do is download app and turn on app, Bluetooth and BacTrack. It immediately connects, which i was surprise how quick it was(5 seconds?) Used it about 8 times, testing after 1 beer, 2 beers...and wife tested...to see if it looks accurate. I think its pretty close. For a big guy like me 3 beers in just over 1.5 hours i blew .05...I think i would be closer to .08 or so. but eye opening to see it doesn't take much to be legally drunk...Nice feature to 'guess' your BAC and it also keeps track of how many drinks you have when you blow. Cant comment on battery life, but 1 AAA will not be a problem replace.
