Disjointed but not bad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've never known what to make of this band. I only have a few other albums and their sound is different in all of them. This one in particular however stood out. It feels like two different bands mashed together to make one album. Close to half of the songs are about being a hopeless romantic, and the remainder are environmental/political/societal complaints. The love songs sound lighter and poppier. The complaint songs are angry and more hardcore. I like both, but the sequencing is confusing and I'm still not sure what to make of it as a whole. Much better than "Comprehensive Guide" however.
