This product is great and at half the price of Dynamat. Installed in the trunk area of my Mustang as it is pretty loud and can get annoying on long trips. Went north for a long drive for the weekend after installing and a noticeable difference in noise level. My wife even commented how much quieter it was within a few miles of driving.

Best Buy installer recommended for for better sound quality and it sure did WOW. And now when I walk away from my truck I can hardly hear the power lock click side benefit.

Couldn't ask for a better sound dampening material. Adheres to any surface and definitely keeps the hard pounding low bass notes in your cab. When I open my doors it's like letting out a demon! That's how amazing this stuff is!

I've used this to reduce the road noise of a 2010 Miata with retractable metal roof. This kit has enough to cover the entire floor of the trunk as well as add sound deadening to both doors (not complete coverage, just enough to quiet the loudest areas), as well as added some to cover the driver/passenger foot wells and some of the transmission hump. Made a significant improvement to the noise level of the cabin. Well worth the investment. Ballistic makes an easy to apply product. No unpleasant odors, peel and stick application. Will definitely use again! Highly recommend.

I purchased this instead of Dyna Mat for my classic 1967 Chevelle. Very surprised at the quality. Quieted down the car considerably and it feels much more solid.

This was exactly what I needed to dampen the sound in my car. The midrange improved drastically and the road noise was greatly reduced. There wasn't a chemical smell like in some other brands, too. Geek Squad installation is highly recommended unless you're super experienced with car audio.

I did a lot of homework before using Ballistic in my 2003 Toyota 4Runner Limited, and found there’s not much information out there on Ballistic outside of Bestbuy reviews, and Ballistic’s website sucks. I’d already used Dynamat on my hood, with excellent results, so had Best Buy do all my doors and floor with Ballistic. The product looks and feels exactly like Dynamat, only heavier. The first thing I noticed is wind noise, it’s mostly what I hear now after installing Ballistic everywhere. With all the car noises, you never noticed the wind that much. All the rattles, squeaks, and road noise is gone, and the whole car feels tighter. You also immediately notice the “chunk” when you close your doors, absent the tin can rattle you heard before. And the music is MUCH more exact, soothing, and “smooth”. I’d definitely use it again. It’s the missing link in audiophile grade car sound systems and having a much more pleasant, quieter ride when the music is off.

Not only does it make you music louder it also kills any extra road noise your car/truck makes. Well worth it and I will buy more for the rest of my car

Great sound deadening effect from road noise. There used to be a drone noise at certain RPM's but, with the sound deadening added it is almost completely gone.

This is a great product for the price. Keep in mind that to truly deaden the sound in your car you need to add more than just this material add CCF (closed cell foam 2nd layer) and MLV (Mass loaded vinyl 3rd layer). than you will notice a huge difference. Again this product only reduces vibrations it does not deaden sound without the above mentioned products. hope this helps out. Good luck.

Added these when I installed new speakers to my car and they have helped with the music along with improvement from some vibration and road noise (not that it was bad at all to start off with) on the interior. The way the door sounds opening and closing after has a nice solid sound to it as well.

Installed it in the floors of my classic car. Help for sound deadener the stereo system and heat and cold.

If your upgrading your system, this product is a must have. The difference in sound quality is amazing. And all i did was my front doors. I'll be back soon to do the rears. These stuff is great. I went to my local Best Buy and got some to do my truck. I ended liking it so much I ordered enough to cover my whole car. Roof, floor, doors, firewall & trunk. WOW!! Super quite I do not hear any road noise or rattles. The music sound quality day and night difference. GET THESE STUFF!!

Well defined lows and brilliant highs with less road noise makes incredible sense in an electric vehicle. There's no annoying mechanical sounds so the tires on the road are what comes to the foreground. Now the sound is so diminished that the speakers can do their job.

I purchased this for my 2016 Subaru and noticed a big difference in the sound quality of the car. I don't have the loudest system but my goal is to make the sound as clear as possible and this definitely helped reach that goal.

A car installation place wanted a 700 dollars to do this. I did it myself with some other materials and the sound quality is great.
