Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the Beoplay Portal's sound quality and comfort, frequently citing its lightweight design. However, negative feedback centers on the high price point, inconsistent battery life, and occasional connectivity issues. Some users also noted that the volume could be improved and that the bass response might not satisfy all listeners. The active noise cancellation feature received mixed reviews, with some finding it effective while others felt it could be better.

These sound fine, but when I am spending north of $600 for a pair of headphones, these better sound like the best headphones ever designed. I also had lots of popping and dropped audio when using with my Xbox, while less than 3 feet away from the console. This shouldn't happen, from a $600 pair of headphones.

Day one purchase and its been nothing but a head ache. App doesn't recognize the headphones half the time, Multiple tries to even pair the set. connects to system with ease but Dolby atmos for some reason doesn't support wireless headphones, which these are. when it does want to connect to app when switching to Xbox the app is supposed to change colors and give you audio setting specific to gaming.. it doesn't. I've unpaired, redownloaded and reset the headphone multiple times and now it wont even connect to anything at all. I've contacted B&O support but they couldn't provide any solutions . List of devices I'm have trouble connecting the cans to.: Xbox series x, windows 10 PC, Samsung Galaxy note 10.

Got these after using wired Bose QC35 with Dolby Atoms enabled for headphones. The setup to the app was easy and had to install an update. Syncing with Xbox was simple as well. Comparing both headsets with Atmos enabled on Series X and the sound profile set to FPS on B&O app, Bose QC35's sounded much better. The sound from these Portals isn't nearly as clear or as rich when playing games like Warzone and Dirt 5. Huge disappointment considering I bought the Bose headphones for under $200 compared to these $500 Beoplay Portals. When connecting them via Bluetooth to listen to music, the audio still couldn't match the much less expensive QC35's, even after playing around with the settings in the app. They were not as comfortable either since the ear cups aren't as deep. Plan on returning these due to poor performance compared to much less expensive alternatives.

This is a really nice pair of headphones. If your only use of this headset is for Xbox, you will not get your money's worth. These are very compatible with most devices which is a benefit. The materials are really high quality. The nicest part is the headband adjustment which is very smooth.

These headphones are one of the best I’ve listened to. I am coming from the Astro A50 and these sound great. Expensive but worth the cost in my opinion. The Beoplay app is super easy to use and very intuitive.

Sound is amazing. Comfortable and stylish with and super easy to set up and use. One thing that needs to be included is a case especially for 500 bucks. But everything else is awesome

The wireless headsets are great just for the value that would expect them to have replaceable ear pads which they don't and have an extra battery and a better battery life.

Honestly not worth their $500 MSRP price. I feel as though they are flawed and tedious to deal with. - Muting function is by touch of the muffs, however they don't mute when I need them to and there's no easy way of telling whether they are muted or not. I accidentally touch the muffs a lot, and they mute when I don't want them too, but it's hard to get them to unmute when I need them to. - Headset does not automatically connect to Xbox Wireless until you switch to the Xbox mode manually by pressing the button. There should not be a switch in the first place. The Steelseries Arctis 9x is fully wireless, connects to both Xbox and bluetooth at the same time in the same mode without any manual switches, and it's $200. That's $300 cheaper than these Beoplay Portals. - The ear muffs hurt because they are small and the pressure from soundwaves hurts the inside of my ear canal as well.

Static. Static. Static. I have owned these for over a year and tried everything to get them to work flawlessly. The fit and finish is amazing but I have never had a flawless game experience with static, and mini signal drops.
