Geek Squad TV mounting service

Installer needed technical assistance.

I could have done it as I did the original mounting. I went with an installer because it was free. However, he had a great deal of difficulty getting the home theater system to recognize the tv and dvd player. He spent a long time switching input options and cabling and even asked if I had any additional cables as he did not have any on his truck. When he left the tv worked but the dvd did not through the universal remote. I later called the Geek Squad for help and a follow up appointment was scheduled. At that time it was determined that the installer had failed to realize that the universal remote needed to be reprogrammed to recognize the new tv. This was done and all works as needed.

Set up
