Got the job done

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have elite coverage so I went ahead and had geek squad mount my TV in the new house. Installer was beyond rude and just carried an overwhelming feeling of not wanting to do the job and if he did he wasn't trying to make sure he did it right. Ended up using them again for a different product with a completely different result. Was friendly throughout and helpful which sort of made up for the last guy but apparently the complaint isn't abnormal from what I was told so...

Best Buy making right what contractor left half do

Now , instead of contractor, the geek squad comming to correct that and change out hdmi cables to4k. I had cables but the contractor kept comming up with reasons not up change out the 11 year old hdmi to the new ones I had bought. J called Best Buy and they have agreed to have geek squad to come out and make things rightfully

Buyer beware
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was disappointed in the geek squad because I had a front tilt mount for my 75 inch television- I called Best Buy before hand and also was told yes that mount would work- the geek squad said it wouldn’t work but he just happen to have one for $150 and he can sell me -I don’t like to call anyone a liar but I ended up bending because I didn’t wanna take a chance but I don’t think he was honest with me

Tech failed to install ALL items & equipment

Installed Samsung TV box on top of Surround Sound Receiver in TV console cabinet (over-heating problems); 2.) Unable to install video laser disk player; 3.) reconnected existing rear speakers do NOT work; 4.) paid for front ceiling speaker mounts that were never installed; 5.) workmanship AVERAGE; and 6.) Tech friendly, pre-occupied & did NOT have the technical skill sets to reinstall older Surround Sound Equipment.
