This was mounted in a bedroom corner and serves its purpose.

The agent mounted my tv without any mess! It was great service!

I've had several occasions to use Geek Squad teams in my home, and always was pleased with the results and the performance of the team. NOT THIS TIME. I consider it unsatisfactory. It started with a phone call announcing his arrival time, during which he told me that I should have purchased a cheaper model. (He repeated this to me several times after his arrival.) Then after looking at the old TV’s installation, he said he couldn’t do the job because of the weight of the existing TV, which of course was about the weight of the TV he was going to install (55 inch). He then informed me that they should have charged me more for the installation; I replied that that was not my problem. However, he did call another team who was able to come over to assist, after which he started to remove the existing TV. I should describe the old TV’s setup. The TV was mounted to the wall with a slim speaker cabinets on each side, mounted to the TV mount. The power outlet, HDMI cable, and six speaker wires were directly behind the TV. Each slim speaker cabinet contained four speakers; the top two speakers in each cabinet were connected to the left and right speaker wires; the bottom two speakers in each cabinet were connected to center speaker wires with two wires connecting between the cabinets, thus providing the center channel sound. I explained this to the first installer, wherein he proceeded to disconnect the wires, not bothering to take a picture of the existing wire attachments. The second team arrived and the proceeded to remove the old TV and install the new TV. Upon completion (after the second team departed) I commented to the first installer that the new TV was at an angle; he stated there was nothing he could do about that and again told me that I should have purchased the cheaper TV that wouldn’t have had that problem. I also noted to him that the speaker wires were hanging below the TV, which he corrected. I also noted that the right speaker grill was just hung on the cabinet rather that having been properly installed; again he corrected the problem. Failing to correct these obvious installation errors before telling me he was ready to go is totally unsatisfactory. The following day I noted that the sound didn’t seem right, so I checked the setup using a utility (nothing more than proving the ability to send sounds to each channel independently) in my AV Receiver. I discovered the left channel was correct, the right channel played through the center speaker, and the center channel played through the right speaker. AGAIN, isn’t this something that should have been checked during the installation. Geek Squad sent another team out to correct the problem. I should probably add that the old TV had been installed by a Geek Squad team that did a great job.

Decided on this mount based on recommendation of Best Buy Associate. worked out great.

The tech crew arrived before the TV. They brought the mount but the TV is supposed to arrive today! So I have not received this service. Very disappointed in the mix up. I was forced to give this a star so I will say the Techs were very nice and I hope they are the ones who will return to do my service.

Geek squad did a great, clean mount install. No issues. Would use them again!

We were told by the Best Buy associate who booked the install that Geek Squad was not available on weekends. So we had to choose a weekday and take time off of work. We were told the installer would be there at a certain time early morning and then the time was switched to later in the day. During phone calls with the technician the installer was rude and dismissive. He also informed us that we should be there and why didn't we choose a weekend if we were not available. (Thankfully, my father-in-law agreed to be present for the install.) However, the sales associate told us at the time of purchase that weekends were not an option. The installer also drilled screws through the medicine cabinet and laundry chute, on the opposite wall causing damage. I should have saved myself the headache and $250.00. I have to reinstall now anyway as it was not in the correct place.
