Home Theatre
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Strongly suggest avoiding BestBuy for any kind of home theatre set up. We spent several thousand dollars. The equipment got set up by BestBuy and then stopped working. We were sold an Apple TV which was slow and VERY klunky ( save your $) and eventually stopped working after 4 months. We the had to PAY to have someone come back out because we were getting no sound at all except for the TV sound. They got the sound working again but eliminated the on screen programming for the receiver ( technician told us it was an “upgrade”) and while we are getting sound again from all speakers, we are not getting surround sound. No help, no support. The salesmen who was so happy to take our multi thousand order can’t be bothered to return calls. This has been a savagely bad customer service experience and the system has worked as designed about 50% of the time since we bought it. Go to a local store which can provide some meaningful service. Beware!!

Check your wall!!

I’m knocking down 2 stars because they did poke a hole in my wall trying to find the stud to hang the TV mount. I wish they would have taken the time to patch it up or at least tell me about it before discovering on my own after Geek Squad technicians left.
