I have to use two remotes to turn on the tv. They did not sync the tv correctly to work with the cable remote

It took 4 separate appointments to get to the right installer who could install my outdoor TV. He was excellent and we worked through the install with the right solution. The first ones were time constrained so they just left and the next one canceled and following one left 15 minutes after they arrived saying they did not know how to find the studs. After numerous calls and being promised a gift card when it was completed the last installer and I figured out how to locate the studs and install the mount. Still no gift card....

I have had an absolutely miserable time with Geek Squad for a TV purchased on July 7, 2024. It took three times of have Geek Squad in my home before the TV was finally installed on the wall only to find it has a defective bracket. Since then i have spent hours on the telephone working to have the TV replaced. Each time i ask that call be recorded and stored and notes place in the system. I am taking off of work for what i am told will be delivery and installation of the new TV only to have the appointment cancelled. This week Geek Squad wanted two visits - 1) to deliver the new TV and remove the defective TV. BUT NOT INSTALL THE NEW TV. I was told this would required another appointment and another day I would have to take off of work. WHY CAN’T A TV BE DELIVERED AND INSTALLED ON THE SAME APPOINTMENT! Speaking with customer service to sort this out the representative’s dogs are barking and other noise (children?) in the background. Can’t be easy for the customer service representative either. Three calls yesterday and no notes in the system. This is terrible and problem still not resolved. Soon it will be three months.

Great service by Best Buy. Wasn’t to pricey and it’s secure

This has not been a good experience. The TV has yet to be installed. The third party installer did not show up within the time frame specified by BestBuy (2-5pm). They called after 5pm and told me that in their system my service was scheduled between 3-6pm, which was too late for us. I do not want the same third party installer working on the installation. I should also get a discount due to the poor service experienced to date! Please fix it. Thank you!
