Getting it right no matter how long it takes. Yes it’s expensive, but worth it.

Was expecting "Geek Squad". Instead, TV was installed by an outsourced 3rd party. They should up at the house with my new TV in the bed of their truck. Fortunately, there were no issues with the TV but was expecting something more professional. They were nice guys who did a good job. I had provided new 4K HDMI 2.1 cables. Only AFTER they completed the install did they tell me that they couldn't get one of the cables through the in-wall cable management tube. They setup my AppleTV device behind the TV just sitting on the mount. So far it's working fine but would have been nice if they had consulted me prior to making their own decision. The tube in the wall is 2 inches so there should not have been a problem with 2 HDMI cables. They were NOT equiped to handle this job. They could have easily fished the cables through but did not have the proper tools. Should not have cost me $250 for this job.

The wall mount was installed by the Geek Squad for an earlier LED television and was reused for the OLED television.

Received my TV 15 days late as the first time around the technician was a no show. This was a pure inconvenience as it resulted in multiple back and forth and considerable delays because Best Buy/Geek Squad failed to effectively manage their team. Do not accept service via their third party team. That being said, the guys did a great job installing my TV and the store owner made it right and refunded the install.

The squad mounted the TV and set everything up! The even took the time to show me how to use the controller. Great team!!

I ordered the Geek Squad, you know, the ones that work directly for Best Buy and drive vans around that have a huge Geek Squad logo on them, usually driven by tech that have been trained by Best Buy to represent their brand, but to also be sure customers are being serviced by people who know what they are doing and have been vetted by Best Buy. Instead, what I got was two guys that showed up in a pickup truck, walked up with a 40" cheap TV in their hands thinking it was mine. No Geek Squad truck and certainly not Best Buy employees, I think the guys who came to install the 86" TV I already had where hired by Best Buy from Angi's List or one of those other handy man websites. The guys were very nice and professional, however they didn't have a ladder which they needed and they could only mount the TV. The problem was, I ordered other services to hide the cords and to install an electrical outlet behind the television, they were unable to install either and ultimately, my TV was mounted crooked too. Don't get tricked into thinking you're hiring Best Buy employees trained to do the work and I spent over $600.00 dollars hiring them. I could have found someone to help me if all I wanted was to hand a TV. Super disappointed and hope this review warned you of what to expect if you think you're paying for the services of trained Geek Squad techs, shame on you Best Buy.

I could have saved money by going through Craigslist, but spending the extra money to have best buy mointmy tv was the best decision ever! It went smoothly and quick. These guys know what they were doing!

The Geek Squad Installers did an absolutely amazing job of setting up and adjusting our new LG C9 77" OLED for us in our family room. I was so impressed with Andy and Matt and the courtesy and patience they showed us "retired people"! My wife was a little overwhelmed with all the remotes we had so we listened to Andy and had him come back a couple days later to set us up with a new Logitech - Harmony 665 10-Device Universal Remote. Now we can control The TV, Denon Receiver, Klipsch speakers, DVR, DVD, Antenna TV and Internet all from one remote. We could not ask for better service. This was money well spent that we will enjoy for a long time! Thank you!!!

The two gentlemen from the geek squad did outstanding work hanging my Sony tv above my fireplace. They were professional and it only took about 1 hour for them to complete the job. Highly recommend.

Best Buy always sets the best standard when it comes to ordering a television granted I had to wait for a little bit to get it in, but once the product came in, everybody was very professional to set up as Kwik and the installers were very informative on information

The guys were great. I couldn’t mount the tv myself so had to hire them to install. They did a great job mounting the tv and even fixed a cable outlet that wasn’t working so I could connect to it.
