I had an older surround sound system that I used with the TV I was replacing, I wasn't sure if it would work with my new 86 inch LG NanoCell. Russell identified that my 27 year old Nakamichi AV-10 Receiver had a optical input that would connect to the new LG, I purchased an optical cable and I was able to experience that same theater type sound but this time with a a 4k Smart TV. The Geek Squad team is awesome, an added value with any Bestbuy purchase.

The two men that came to my house to install my TV were on time, kind, and courteous. They did an amazing job on the install.

This is a second review due to having a different experience with another Geek Squad Technician. This technician which I believe his name was Ryan (I remember because it’s also my son and husbands name) was the BEST! He did an amazing job at uninstalling the defective tv and installing a brand new tv! He moved quickly and I was at ease with my purchase! Thanks to him he made this such a better experience!

The Geek Squad did a very nice job mounting the 85" Sony TV on our wall. The wall mount didn't have a way to mount the Sony Soundbar 9. They had to lay it down on top of a piece of furniture.

My TV was mounted, tested and was square/level on the wall, perfect installation.

They mounted the TV securely. However, the exact place on the wall was marked off for them and I duscussed with them about centering it on the wall. Despite the discussion and tape markings on the wall, they still had it off centered. They gave an excuse about the wall studs, but the bracket had screw holes that were designed to be able to shift.

6th time I've used GS in the last 4 years: 4 for installs in different places and twice for failing hard disk on a computer. This one was particularly good: an SSD disk that the GS installed just about a year ago was failing. Still a few days from warranty expiration, the GS replaced the SSD at no cost and, because of a price reduction on the same SSD, I got a $21 store credit back. Another great job by the GS.

The agent replaced my tv and connected it to all that was necessary.
