We had out TV installed above a fireplace on a wood 2 by 4 surrounded by a brick veneer. We let them know that the area for mounting wasn't very big, and they brought out a few mounting brackets to use.

Samsung wins again

Before purchasing, I went to their store and viewed all 32 inch TVs and in my opinion, again Samsung was top choice. A Geek Squad member installed my new TV on a swing mount with the screen that can be seen in a choice of two rooms. He also walked me through how the Samsung remote works
