An epic finale to an amazing series

If you've played any of the Arkham games, you already know that Rocksteady has crafted the best superhero series ever created. Their games are always class leading, and Arkham Knight is no exception. After years of development and months of delays, it's finally here and well worth the wait. The game looks amazing and plays great. It packed with replay and content. Not only that, but the PS4 version is the definitive edition since the PC version is so buggy that it has been pulled. If you're a Batman fan, you'll be amazed. If you have a favorite villain, there's a very good chance he's in this game. Some may be disappointed with the Arkham Knight reveal, but that doesn't detract from an amazing game. It's still an epic finale.

The only reason why I bought my ps4 back in October was because I thought this was coming out. The graphics and story line are just as amazing as Arkhangelsk asylum and City. The ONLY reason why I'm giving it one less star is because the batmobile was a little over used. Don't get me wrong it was awesome but different.

If you liked the previous batman beat 'em up games, then there's no excuse for missing out on this one. Gameplay in this one is the pinnacle of the series, and the story is fairly engaging as well.

I've watched this series grow and this is the culmination. The graphics, the action, the mechanics, the story and the voice acting are all top notch that will emerse you into believing you are the Batman!

Too much Batmobile, but otherwise great

The Batmobile stuff is not bad - there's just way too much of it. There's enough good improvement in the core combat that they could have just focused on that, but they decided to make the Batmobile the main character instead. All that being said, it's still the same great combat you know and the story is excellent.

Perfect wrap up to the series. No complaints! Controls were a bit awkward at first but the game draws you in and you learn to make it work. Graphics are impressive and the overall dark themes were excellent.

I never played either of the prequel games to Arkham Knight. I was referred to this game by a co-worker and i picked it up, played it and loved it. Definitely a good buy. Great graphics, gameplay, and story

This game has everything you could want for the Batman Arkham series. The graphics are amazing! When Batman is grappling through Gotham and you see the raindrops rolling off his uniform, I was blown away by the detail. Some people are fans of car games and some are not. I am not but with the Batmobile, it makes the game more intense...at least for me. It is a big part of the game with some liking it and some not. I didn't think I would but after awhile I was calling the Batmobile every chance I could! If you have had any game in this series and do not have this one...get it. You will not be disappointed. For those new to it, it's a more darker, grittier Batman game/story that I think a lot of adult gamers will enjoy!

Love the game. Originally bought on PC but due to the broken port I bought it again on ps4. Glad I did. Game runs better than the PC. Great frame rates overall and graphics are stunning. Highly recommended!

A fantastic end to the Batman Arkham trilogy (not counting Origins). Fluid and fast gameplay, good story, lots of references to iconic and lesser known Batman villians. A must buy for any comic book fan.

Dev should be taking notice and stop making games for last gen consoles. Work on making games look and play great for this gen and we will see more amazing games. Batman is great and highly recommended.

I was so excited for this game I ended up buying it twice. Ordered the limited edition gunmetal PS4 which also had the game. So far everything looks great and the framerate is solid but driving the batmobile the way I do makes it look like batman is drunk! Really need to figure out the controls but it is fun.

Arkham Knight is a great Batman game. I can't say if it's my favorite Arkham game because of some things that occur near the end of the game. I'll try to keep this review as spoiler free as possible. There is a lot to love in this iteration of the Arkham series. The combat feels crisp and fluid. Exploring Gotham City is fun. The side missions were my favorite part of the game. The Firefly missions and mystery serial killer missions are a high point. The main story is kind of lackluster but the addition of a certain sidekick makes the whole thing worth while. The one thing that really sucked out my enjoyment of the game were the many bat-tank battles. There are so many of them and they happen so often I found my self dreading any progression made in the game. As soon as I knew I was in a tank battle I would heavily sigh, roll my eyes and begrudgingly make my way through it. These tank missions soured my experience with the game. You might love this part of the game, I did not. At all. Every other part of the game is great, but temper your expectations.

Rocksteady takes the helm again in their final installment in the Batman franchise. Batman: Arkham Knight is an excellent action/adventure game that looks gorgeous on PS4. Anyone who played the previous Batman games will feel instantly familiar with this version. The biggest new feature, as well as a stumbling block for the game, is the integration of the Batmobile. The developers tried to rely a bit too much on the stylized car, and what should have been a fun gameplay device turns into a bit of a chore. The Batmobile also has the ability to turn into a tank, which feels rather out of place in the lexicon of Batman vehicles. Overall, Batman: Arkham Knight is a worthy addition to the Batman legacy.

I sure am happy Rocksteady is back at the helm of the Batman series. The game feels familiar but new at the same time. Turns out the Batmobile is a great add. I thought it was going to be just a corny throw in but boy was I wrong. The streets of Gotham City feel a little too small for the Batmobile though.

Phenomenal game, it looks and plays wonderfully. The game is varied enough and you feel like Batman. The Batmobile is kind of annoying at times, but it's still fun enough to mitigate the problem. 5/5

I've always been a fan of the "Arkham" game series. I played (and completed story mode) for Arkham Asylum. I did purchase Arkham City and played maybe 50% of the story mode before getting bored and moving on to something else. It was a good game, but seemed like a lot of the same stuff. Arkam Knight does a good job of letting you take control of Batman again while making it seem new and fresh--not the same stuff we were doing in the previous games. The addition of the Batmobile really breathes new life into the game, and the graphics on PS4 are amazing. I've read that there were some issues with this game on the PC, but I can confirm that none of these issues are present on the PS4. Great game!

The ability to drive the Batmobile really took this game over the top. The graphics are amazing, story line is deep and engaging, and there is enough to do ALL THE TIME. In fact, there is almost too much to do. If you love completing riddles, there are over 200 in hidden locations around the HUGE open world map. A map which you are able to freely roam from the start of the game (although not with your batmobile by your side) without having to "unlock" it. Fighting style remains the same with a few new tweaks to the moves to make it look cooler. I thought it would be difficult to operate the batmobile after watching the trailers, but it is actually really easy to operate. They did a great job.
