I haven't completed the game yet but I can tell you this game is quite the experience on PS4. I can see why they delayed the release date from earlier this year till June 2015. Controls, graphics, story, TOP NOTCH! My only complaint is the bat mobile itself. I don't know whether it's me or the controller or the game but the blasted thing is difficult to drive. I have a more better control of the cars in GTA V. But overall, I love Batman, and the series of Arkham games have never disappointed me.

Pros: -The combat and predator systems are still fantastic, with little bits making things even better this time around. -Huge city, bigger than City and Origins. -Storyline is the best in the series, certainly the darkest,, with many good twists and turns. -Once you get used to the controls, the Batmobile is amazing. Cons: -But to start with, the Batmobile is kind of difficult to deal with. -And it's been shoehorned into so much of the gameplay. -Stealth Tank sections are a pain in the butt.

'Open world' is an understatement for this masterpiece. Where people could explore a mere fraction of Gotham before, previously known as Arkham City, you can now explore not just that fraction again, but the entirety of Gotham in a car so Beast, The Dark Knight trilogy batmobile looks like a kid's toy in comparison. And the frame rate is breathtaking, not to mention the animation and fluidity of transition. As far as i'm concerned, this game delivers it's promise of letting you be the Batman.

Competent end to the Arkham series

Arkham Knight hits all the notes of the Batman game series we've come to love with enough twists, turns, and surprises to keep you playing. The combat is still as satisfying as ever and gliding around the much larger sandbox of Gotham City is incredible. The addition of the Batmobile at first is a fun gimmick but seems to overstay its welcome. While the tank mode handles like a dream, the actual 'chase mode' feels a bit loose and sloppy, making forced race and chase sequences frustrating to complete which can slow the game down. Thankfully these are spaced out such that you never truly get bogged down. Ultimately, if you've enjoyed the previous Arkham games then this one is sure to amuse you.

I've only started playing Arkham Knight, but for longtime fans of the series, this purchase is a no brainer. Fluid combat, awesome visuals, good story (so far) and who knows how many twists and turns they have in store. The major change to the model is the addition of the batmobile - which does take some getting used it. But I envision all these different components bringing much to the overall game experience - once you are able to master and apply everything.

THIS MARKS THE START OF THE NEXT GEN GAMES. This game ends the batman arkham games series with a blast. Everything from the graphics, gameplay, combat and variety of missions were maxed-out. The only complain that I can say is it takes a while to get used to batmobile's controls but when you get used to it, it is so much fun! I recommend this as a must have to all that have played the series! This game alone is a good reason to move to the next gen consoles.

These Batman games just keep getting better, just like the first game that I played on the Play Station platform Batman Asylum. The story line is awesome, its ok suitable for kids but has enough drama too to keep a 30 year old men like me engage. If in doubt just buy the game! it is worth your money to keep you entertained for the summer. Note, and no internet necessary to have fun with this game. Stop reading reviews, get out your card and Buy it!

First the positives: Graphics, voice acting (well done Mark Hamil!). The banter between the Joker and Bats is well done. Definitely the highlight of the game. The other notable item are the attention to detail in the graphics, like the rain water on Batmansome cape when flying around Gotham is really nice as well. The bad: Story and the controls I won't go into detail about the plot, but could of been better. The controls are good or bad depending on your play style you prefer. I preferred the controls in the LOTR game to this, even though very similar (same engine I think). So if a fan of previous games by WB, you should dig this one.

this game is beautiful. and it's so ambitious for the creators to have created the setting of the single night this game takes place during a thunderstorm with lightning strikes that cast ominous shadows everywhere. you can almost feel the wet leather mesh, beads of moisture falling off batman's cape... the gameplay is, for the most part, exactly the same as the previous incarnations of the batman saga. the myriad of button moves (attack, counter, fire bat claw, etc) are all too familiar. however, this chapter in the batman saga gives us something new. the batmobile. a balls to the wall version too. and for the first time ever in the batman series, the player can now control the batmobile and speed down the corridors of gotham as well as traverse the rooftops and strike back when in battle-mode...but... the control sucks. R2 accelerates the machine, but Square brakes and reverses. ok, in my mind, most games would have placed the acceleration as the X button. or if R2 accelerates, why doesn't R1 reverse and brake? and L2 puts you into battle mode...and while in battle mode, R1 fires the machine gun and R2 fires the missiles. ok. but when you're driving and all of a sudden encounter enemies and you find yourself amongst 5 tanks trying to gun you down, the first thing you do is panic trying to find battle mode...but don't accidentally hit L1 cuz that'll pop Batman out of the Batmobile and make you more likely to get shot. and while you're trying to strafe and move forward and back (using the L3 joystick) and trying to fire, you might let go of the L2 button and then you're back into regular batmobile mode....where you're trying to go by using the L3 joystick...oh wait!, that's not right,...R2...! (hit the wall), aw man!! (hit square, reversing too much)...shoot shoot shoot!!! get outta there!!! and to throw an even bigger monkey wrench into the mix, Triangle is turbo boost engine. if Square is reverse, and Triangle is turbo boost, WHY WOULD YOU NOT MAKE X ACCELERATE??? what kinda button configuration is that??? ugh. anyways, that's my only complaint about this game. other than that it's pretty solid.

I love the combat and the story. The fighting is some of the best ever. I hate that there are no real boss fights though. The tank is a bit over used as well. But it can be fun.

This game had the potential to be the best Batman game so far, although I would still give that to Arkham City. This game is very good and the graphics are outstanding! The only downside to the game is that they focused on the Batmobile way to much. Although it was a nice touch and would have been great if they used it here and there, but almost every mission has you using it. Overall it is still an amazing game and a must play!

Let's get some negatives out of the way: The Batmobile can be clumsy and you may tire of frequent tank battles. Read any Batman comic and you already know the story. The gritty and grusome has be dialed up and its treatment of women suck. But I couldn't stop playing the game. Every street fight, every Riddler trophy, every bank robbery called out to keep playing and I did. This feels like a must have, even more if you like Arkham City.

If you've tried any of the other Arkham games, you know more or less what to expect. The key difference in Knight is the Batmobile, which is unfortunately not for everyone. It changes the feel of movement from the "controlled weight" of City and Origins to something much quicker, and this quickness also bleeds into combat, on-foot movement, predator encounters, gliding, etc. I personally loved it because it gives Knight a clear unique identity, much like how Asylum and City "feel" different yet similar. To those that loved that solidity and weight of City...you very well might not enjoy Knight. As far as gameplay, I'd say it's the perfect realization of a new-gen version of Arkham, just not one everyone would agree on. The story of Arkham Knight is somehow overly predictable and completely surprising, which I won't elaborate on due to spoiling some great twists. Outside of those, though...it's basically what you'd expect from another Arkham game. Hardly bad, but definitely not as riveting as something like The Last of Us. The voice acting (and sound design in general) is surprisingly perfect this time around, with the strange occasional exception of Batman himself. Overall, I'd say Arkham Knight falls more in line with a 9 to 9.5/10 due to a disappointing lack of challenge maps and over-focus on the Batmobile, but it's still a solid contender for my Game of the Year. If you can accept the Batmobile, this is the best Arkham game yet that can only be improved with challenge maps. If you like your Batman being more about, well, Batman, I'd still recommend trying it, just lower your expectations from matching City.

...and perhaps the current best game for the new consoles. Graphics are awesome, and the story is gritty, dark, and suspenseful. The batmobile mechanics may not be a favorite of many critics, but it adds an extra layer of complexity to the game that I found challenging and prevented a lot of the monotony that plagues many games of this genre. The gameplay is polished and there's plenty of Batman lore... what more could one want?

This game is definetly one of the good games for 2015. A summer blockbuster for sure. I haven't beaten the game yet so I'm still enjoying it but the visuals and story alone are amazing. A new villain called the Arkham Knight emerges and seems to know everything about you and your weakness. He teams up with Scarecrow and they try to take over all of the U.S from Gotham. It's a must have and one of the best hit games for summer .

I don't mind Batman, but it's not my favorite. This game is fun even if you're not a fan. I can imagine that this is a must buy for a Batman lover. For the rest of us, this is a solid brawler with a large open world. In typical open world fashion, you're going to be spending a fair amount of time just exploring. Sometimes this feels like a waste of time when you have been searching for another unmarked clue or quest item. It's mostly possible to ignore these side distractions, or do them when you stumble upon them. If your looking for a great looking, smooth playing, open world game, this game is a great choice.

All I can say is wow! This game is amazing from good story to great graphics. Batman arkham knight is a must own. I've played most major releases for the PS4 and to me this stands above the rest. I have yet to finish the main story because its so easy to get lost in the fluid combat and fun side missions. I'm about %70 with the main story and has been great through and through, don't over think your purchase buy it.
