A Great Finale
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really impressed both graphically and story wise with the finale of the Arkham Batman series. While the game is not without its few flaws, the variety of actions and level of detail added to this game really makes for a more enjoyable experience. Plus, the new Batmobile is the best yet. Driving that is an experience unto itself. You will not be disappointed in this game, especially if you are a fan of the Arkham series.

Holy side quest, Batman!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm torn about this game. On the one hand, it's a (mostly) polished experience that's enjoyable and caps off a great series of games started on the 360/PS3. On the other hand, the developers over at Rocksteady have crammed so much "side" quest stuff into the game, it feels aimless. Many modern games have this issue, particularly ones with open worlds. You're pulled in every direction with missions: stop a crime here, put out a fire there, chase some bad guys in the Batmobile. And oh yeah, if you have a moment, remember there's a bomb about to go off, but not really... we need to give you the choice of what to do in the order you want to do it in, so long as you've "unlocked" the different sections of the map. As "open" as this world is, it's not truly open until about halfway through the "main" story mission. Characters chatter all the time, and in small doses that's fine, but the game is overwritten to a fault, so much so that conversations often overlap one another. Which either proves how pointless most of it is, or just shows a lack of awareness on the developer's part. Aside from the occasional hiccup in framerate or action, the game runs really well. There were some major issues with the PS4 version, one that required a day-one patch that was nearly 4GBs, with an additional patch a week later to fix the online leader boards that were working on the first day of release. Overall, it's a good game that doesn't quite achieve the same highs as its predecessor ARKHAM CITY, and with a $40 season pass on the table, those on the fence may want to wait for the inevitable GOTY edition.

Great story and action!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a must own game for any fans of batman with a PS4. The story plays out very well while playing the game, immersing you with the same quality of watching a movie play out in real time. The visuals are amazing and crisp. The controls are funner than ever. Well worth the experience!

Great game overall
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have no complaints so far. This installment in the series does a great job of training players on the control scheme. the game looks great & runs flawlessly on the PS4. Wearing the 1960 TV skin is hilarious at times, especially in cutscenes where other NPCs are taking Batman seriously!

Awesome Game with a geat finish
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The end of a trilogy that started with Arkham Asylum. Arkham Knight finishes strong and has a satisfying yet bitter sweet ending. Picking up right where Arkham City left off you'll be pushed to the limit by all the villians in the Batman universe. A must play for all Dark Knight fans

A solid Batman experience.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Improving upon the strong gameplay standard Rocksteady established with Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, Arkham Knight is the conclusion to the series and certainly goes out with a bang. The combat remains the same wonderful, flowing combat as before, with new enemy types included to spice up fights. The Batmobile is of course a critical aspect of the game and is super fun to drive and use but is perhaps a bit overused for the various missions the game has to offer. Stealth segments don't show up nearly as much as they used to but are still present and provide more fun, predatory experiences for players. And without giving too much away, there's an entire character arc persisting throughout the game that, well, personally I believed it was the best part of the game in how it was handled. That being said, the game does fall a bit short, with essentially no boss fight unlike the previous entries in the series, save for Batmobile-based ones which aren't all that exciting. The plot is also fairly loose and several characters don't get the treatment they deserve. While the game IS a fantastic game, it's touted as the conclusion to the Arkham series and the definitive Batman experience and yet, it doesn't feel like the definitive Batman experience. There's so much untapped potential for a better Batman game than this and it is disappointing to know that Rocksteady is abandoning it for other projects given their track record for building upon previous games for sequels. Still, it's a good, solid game that I'd recommend to just about anyone.

Really good game!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is very good, excellent graphics, superb and dark story and improved mechanics all the way around. The only real downfall is the batmobile. They overuse it and have lots of tedious tank battles with it. it starts to get annoying. Pros: Great graphics Great story DARK improved mechanics Great voice acting (minus Gordon he sounds awful) Cons: Overuse of Tank battles Gordons voice actor Last Batman game :(

Great game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've liked the Arkham series as they show off Batman's detective skills instead of making it a beat up game like numerous other Batman games have been. The story was good but a lot of things that seemed like they were new to this game's story were taken from the Batman universe.

Great game but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me just start off by saying how amazing the graphics on this game is. The story line is great and the gameplay, well, most of it is great. For the most part, the gameplay is great but then there are the Batmobile scenes that you can't get out of, which is extremely annoying. It's almost like a GTA Gotham City style. This game is nothing like Arkham City or Asylum. However I still enjoyed the game nonetheless

Another great game to the Batman franchise!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even thought its a medium length game, it has a great story-line and replay factor. Something that's important after an endgame completion. The open world addition really makes the choices in which you progress through this title more interesting! 9 out of 10 on the fun factor!

A Great Finally to the Trilogy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a fan of the Batman Arkham series since Arkham Asylum, I must say I was very satisfied with how Batman Arkham Knight concluded the trilogy with both gameplay and story. The game offers the same great combat from Arkham City with some new combat moves and enemies to make it feel fresh. The stealth also offers a new variety of moves and gadgets as well as enemies to switch up the usual flow of a stealth encounter from previous Arkham games. The introduction of the Batmobile also helps in adding new gameplay elements to the game. With the Batmobile, one can navigate the city, complete puzzles, engage in tank combat and in pursuits. I did feel like the Batmobile was slightly over-used thought, but most of the gameplay surrounding it I found enjoyable, with the exception of the Batmobile stealth sequences (Yes, there is stealth for the Batmobile too). Overall, I highly enjoyed Batman Arkham Knight and I feel its an excellent game on many levels.

Fantastic Batman game, terrible GTA game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is as with previous entries, fantastic when you are being Batman. And pretty awful when forced to use the Batmobile. Double that for anything involving the Batmobile AND the Riddler. Still worth buying as the Batmobile parts are a minority of the game, but I wish they'd just left them out.

Great game with some minor issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic entry in the Arkham series with just a few annoyances. Vehicle combat is a bit shoehorned in towards the end of the game and some missions wear out their welcome a bit before completion. Riddler trophies are still a pain. Having said that, combat is as good as it's ever been, graphics are amazing, and the writing and voice acting is probably my favorite in the series. Absolutely worth playing.

Amazing Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game was amazing. The gameplay was fun, the missions varied enough to keep it interesting, and the story itself was amazing. I have finished it all outside of all the riddler missions which are just too numerous. The completist in me may eventually knock them all out.

Worth the wait!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I pre ordered this game months ago, probably the week they said it was coming out, the wait has been tough but now that it's here, it's by far the best batman game released. The graphics look like you're watching a movie and story is awesome! Must have for next gen owners!

It's Batman, but.....
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This version of the Arkham series has all the elements you love from the earlier games but brought to you in the next gen beauty of the PS4. The overdo the Batmobile integration a bit, but it's easy enough to look past to get to the heart of the game, which is excellent.

Good end to a great trilogy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The opinion on Rocksteady's Arkham trilogy is very divisive. Some prefer the Metroid style of Arkham Asylum, some prefer the openness of Arkham City. Others prefer the changes the Batmobile brought to Arkham Knight. I fall in the middle category. Firstly the biggest subject of controversy, the Batmobile. It's there. You use it. A lot. Without it we'd essentially have Arkham City 2.0. I loved Arkham City but I don't want to relive that experience, I want something new and this is exactly what this is. I love the use of the Batmobile. It's fun. It controls very well and it's used in a lot of unique inventive ways. But then there's also the drone fights. They are repetitive. If there's a reoccurring theme in this game it's repetition. Though only if you choose to do some of the side missions. Drones, bombs, firemen. The story also isn't much better. That all said. Batman Arkham Knight is a really really good game. All of your gadgets are still there but with noticeable enhancements that greatly improve on gameplay. A certain character I won't reveal is expertly written and essentially makes up for the rest of the story. The Batmobile is immensely satisfying and despite numerous drone missions is a welcome addition and provides a breath of fresh air. The cast isn't anywhere near as large as previous games but we've already seen all those faces. This game gives you a couple new ones. Play if you're a fan of Rocksteadys Arkham franchise.

Best Batman Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They have done it once again and have made a truly amazing Batman game. This game makes you feel like you are the Caped Crusader himself, fighting to save Gotham. The fighting controls are intuitive and everything feels natural. Any DC comic gamer fan must have!
