The Caped Crusader
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This the best Batman in the collection! From the visuals to the story, everything was great. Add in the batmobile (which is a a little clunky but what do expect from a tank) your in for one hell of a ride. Also as of this writing, the PS4 version is the best one out of the three. So choose wisely.

Doesn't hold up so well after Spiderman
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted another superhero game to scratch the itch after beating Spiderman so I decided to pick up Arkham Knight after skipping it on release. Unfortunately, Batman isn't as enjoyable to play as he used to be. Combat and traversal are clunky compared to Spiderman, and the tank combat in the Batmobile is never fun. If you feel the need to play as Batman again, I would recommend just going back to Arkham City.

A fitting end to a great series
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having played the other games in the Arkham series, I was seriously looking forward to this game and came away pretty satisfied. The game was visually stunning and the combat and world traversal was better than ever. I really liked the new Team Play mechanic that lets you fight alongside characters such as Robin and Catwoman. Riding around in the new Batmobile was an awesome experience, but proved to be a mixed blessing. I felt that the developers tried to shoehorn the Batmobile combat into too much of the game. Many of the main missions and side missions revolve around shooting tanks with your Batmobile weapons. While the first few are good, it starts getting old towards the end of the game. The overuse of the Batmobile was probably my biggest issue with this game. Although not my favorite game in the series (that honor goes to Arkham City) it's definitely still worth playing.

Don't Buy the Hype
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this game does not live up to the hype surrounding it. The story is fairly strong, better than Origins at least, but I take issue with more of the functional aspects. The controls are clunky somehow despite being mostly the same scheme from the previous Arkham titles. The game is not very immersive at all since they removed the on-screen weapon select and have replaced it with a pause-style like page to access instead. And don't get me started on the Batmobile. It's quite evident to me that Rocksteady implemented the Batmobile strictly as fan service and didn't take into account things such as their environment not really being built for driving vehicles. There are several areas where you will drive into structures (bridge foundations are the biggest offender) and rather than being stopped cold, which would admittedly be endlessly frustrating as well, you just drive right through unimpeded. The controls for driving are awful and battle within it are more of a chore than excitement. I found myself traversing the map by gliding much, much more than utilizing the Batmobile. The fun and danger of being spotted by an NPC while creeping on a roof or gliding a little too low are gone, as are the same fun and danger of traversing the map on ground level because operating at ground level will typically mean you're driving the Batmobile. The visuals are very strong and the bosses are masterfully designed. I haven't finished the story just yet but it does seem better put together than Arkham Origins and I do find myself a little more invested than I was with the story in Arkham City. As stated earlier, this game is overhyped in my opinion, likely just for being tied to the Arkham series. I don't see it as one of the better games this year. It's more or less serving as something to pass the time until better games come out.

Too Much Batmobile
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Arkham Knight was fun however, I felt that the Batmobile was too shoe horned into this game. The graphics and story were great. It's worth a play through however, I would try to rent it if possible.

Brady Games Never Fails to Satisfy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I honestly do not know how they continue to one up themselves with each Batman game. I read other reviews make mention of repetition but all games that are sequels tend to do this in game play, but the story line is always captivating, and I will be honest at first the Batmobile was very difficult to maneuver and I was not satisfied with how it was what I thought was difficult. After a couple days play the Batmobile is one of the favorite parts of the game to me now.

Love This Game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game was amazing, beat main story and side quests at 100% with only a few trophies left to possibly get and I only want more! I will be buying the season pass as the story was very entertaining, graphics are amazing and puzzles are so hard. Some puzzles had me stuck for hours trying to figure it out only to walk away from it a day or two then come back and figure it out finally. A+++ game!

Best Batman Game yet!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Much better than the previous Batman game (Origins) and on par with City and Asylum. The main story is great and the side missions are fun and challenging. Loved playing as Catwoman and our characters too. Only slight downside was that although fun to drive the bat-mobile, and fly in and out of it, some of the bat-mobile based missions were a little frustrating

Ultimate Batman Game!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When this game first came out my only complaint was the bare bones challenge mode. Since then, a lot of free updates has fixed the challenge mode, such as adding a character select option, letting you play as some of Rocksteady's best characters like Harley Quinn and Red Hood on almost any stage. But the campaign itself is arguably the best in the Arkham franchise. For me personally, I'd rate it higher than Asylum and Origins but tied with Arkham City. Gotham looks breathtaking, the graphics are some of the best anywhere, the combat has been fine tuned to perfection, the story has some amazing moments, and you finally get to drive the batmobile! Some may argue the batmobile is overused but I always found it to be great fun, especially during the puzzle solving bits. Last thing to note, with all the costume/batmobile DLC this game is now a Batman fans dream. Want to drive the 1989 Tim Burton batmobile in the Michael Keaton outfit? This game has you covered. Want to drive Nolan's Tumblr as Christian Bale's Batman? Check. Want to drive Snyder's batmobile as Ben Afflecks Batman? You got it. You're not gonna find that level of fanservice anywhere else!

Great game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The amount of content in this game is pretty impressive. In addition to the main story, there are TONS of side missions that will keep you going for a long time. The Batmobilie is pretty awesome, but handles very poorly. The voice acting is phenomenal and the combat is as fluid and fun as always. Definitely worth a playthrough.

Solid end
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With the final game Batman Arkham Knight Rocksteady really did try to add something interesting with the Batmobile which has some mixed results. For me it really depended on what I was doing randomly driving through Gotham was loads of fun but some of the missions involving it are difficult for various reasons I won't get too heavily into (spoiler potential is low but won't risk it). The problem I had was getting it to move in the way I needed it when needing to follow behind an enemy for an attack being tracked didn't help either but those were far more rare. As a rule when using it in battle it is a pretty straight forward straight, back, side to side in avoiding attacks and firing attack type thing with some bonus weapons you choose to upgrade throughout the game (your given all of them in the story in the end). Everything else is mostly the same and what you've come to expect with beating up various Batman villians and a solid combat system and I'm hesitant to get too deep due to spoiler issues. The good More of the same from earlier games such as overall fluid combat Decent enough story and it brings a solid end to the Rocksteady triology Non Batmobile Most Wanted missions weren't too bad Just fun to play The negative Riddler anything just like previous games I found him to be a very tedious boring exercise Complete ending requires all Most Wanted missions to be 100% Shorter ending seems to have mixed information (some get it at 7 most wanted others need 10 I needed 10) Batmobile steering is a mixed bag sometimes I had no issues what so ever other times it was an absolute nightmare I would have given the game a 4 1/2 if the option was there but it isn't so I gave it a 4. It's just unusually good. By the end of it all I had done I believe all but two or three Most Wanted mission paths.

A great conclusion to the trilogy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While this game is not quite as good as Arkham City in my opinion, and does include a bit too much of the batmobile, the story, gameplay, mission variety, and new additions make this an excellent game worthy of purchase and provides for a great conclusion to the Arkham game series.
