The reason for me to buy PS4
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been longing for having this Batman game for a year. I finally owned it together with my purchase of PS4 on Black Friday this year. The game performance and image quality is much better than its previous series on PS3. However, the control remains quite complex and it is hard to well control the batmobile.

Almost excellent (PS4)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's the first week this game has been out and it's good, but Asylum and City made for some -very- high expectations. Regarding quality, it falls below any of it's Rocksteady predecessors, as it has a lot of glitches while I did not experience one in any of the previous versions. It does not connect to PSN leaderboards, the main character already froze on me once, I've had to try more than once for Batman to interact with something (press X) a few times. And regarding gameplay, going through it does not help in getting a feel for the city as you have to move fast between different points in the city. You do a lot of moving around in the Batmobile, which I hate to say, I dont like. The steering is clumsy and the physics not good at all. It would have been good to use for a mission or two, but you are on it a lot, and for me is not a good expercience. Most importantly I feel that the combat system took a step backwards, and the controls in general, and are not as good as the past two versions. This, plus the Batmobile= minus 1 star.

Pretty awesome game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Batman: Arkham Knight is a pretty good game. The story is compelling, the gameplay is fun (the addition of the vehicle is cool), and the world is open and fun to explore. If I had any concerns it would probably be that the controls can be a little finicky. But all in all, it's a really fun game.

Amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Arkham Knight is simply amazing. some have criticized the amount of batmobile use, however I have been really enjoying all aspects of this game. There's tons to do, and the story is great.

Great story, Batmobile lost its wheel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Arkham Knight is closely related to its dark brethren - so close, you may feel as though you're playing the same game. It's got a compelling story and makes you feel as though you are the Batman. The Batmobile is tough to negotiate, but it's so cool, you may forgive the tough controls.

The definitive batman experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Become the Bat again in the spectacular conclusion to Rocksteady's arkham series. Gameplay is smooth as butter. No one has yet to make an action title with the fluidity of the free flow system that arkham has and this game even improves on the last one. The main story's play time is about 10-15 hours but the game has plenty of side quests called arkham's most wanted that will have you solving crimes and facing off with a few of the dark knights famous villains. There is the batmobile this time and it seems like it's either a hate it or love it type of situation. I love having the batmobile and it really is a joy to drive, but so many scenarios in the game made the batmobile seem forced and instead of enhancing the batman experience, it cheapened it. Game is beautiful with top knotch audio and video presentation. However, I didn't enjoy this one as much as Arkham City. Still an amazing game and fans of the Bat and even fans of the action genre, would do well to pick it up.

Great Game - as expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've played all the other Arkham games and was super excited to see this one. It doesn't disappoint. It has everything you loved about the previous games: combat, flight, cut scenes, riddles, mysteries, and great visuals. It also adds in a new component, the batmobile. I'm not a fan of racing games so it took a while to win me over on this part of the game. I'd rather have not had it at all in the game, but once you get used to it, the vehicle just adds another level of challenge. It is a bit mature for younger audiences, so kiddos need to be supervised or left to something less intense. Otherwise, go get it now and thank me later! :)

Great Batman, Bad Knight
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Batman Arkham combat you've come to expect was here. It had a good story for the most part too with a few unexpected twists. The Batmobile is the biggest addition and its great for roaming around Gotham, you truly feel like Batman. The villains were solid and had a few good surprises, but the Arkham Knight himself was not good. I won't spoil anything, but the forced tank battles, Cobra Tanks, and the ______ Tank boss fight near the end was especially terrible. Getting that out of the way, the combat, freeroaming, sidequests, and infiltration are top notch as always. A near perfect Batman experience.

Be The Batman
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical of this title at first. I felt Arkham City was one of the greatest games of all time, with an intensely deep and rich storyline, and innovative and simplistic gameplay. A game thats hard to top. Those of you who have played the game know what I mean. Arkham Knight excels City in every way. new gadgets, new moves, oh yeah and the batmobile (seriously, you can't understand how awesome it is until you try it.) The story is just as deep, dark, and engaging as Arkham City, Bottom line is that everyone should have this game in their collection. This is the definitive Batman experience, be The Batman.

Amazing finale to the trilogy!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is beautiful. Best graphics I've seen for this gen so far. Amazing gameplay but the controls have changes since the others games so it'll take a little time to get use to. The Batmobile is awesome but seems pretty forced into the game because it is used a lot.

Good, but too much Batmobile
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an awesome game. All the beloved features of the previous games are here along with some great updates to them, but seriously guys, too much Batmobile. Until this game I never actually imagined the physical possibilities of having a car jammed down one's throat.

Great Game. Excellent Story.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only shortcoming this game has is the Batmobile (aka Bat Tank). The developers spent too much time forcing it into the game. Other than that, the game is incredible.

Batmobile Simulator 2k15
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Batman: Arkham Knight is a must have for any fan of the prior games for several reasons. +Single player game is entirely playable offline. Internet broadband only needed for DLC content. +Large, open world city lets you progress as you wish shortly into the game, choosing missions or secondary goals at will. +Smooth controls, responsive and effective on foot and in vehicle. +Batmobile is a worthy new addition to the series and very effective against many enemies and obstacles Batman alone couldn't handle. It acts as a major assistant, showing up when you need its help. Control by remote control or directly as a driver. Tank mode or car mode. +City is 5+ times larger than Arkham City. 2 sections unlocked shortly after the Ace Factory is dealt with. Night time setting most times. +Ascend to the highest building to jump off and glide, or assess the city from above. +Environmental puzzles require cleverness to solve. If an entry is blocked, think of the tools available to help you. +Challenging fighting game combat with all new moves and abilities. +Depending on the situation, many playable characters to control. +Surprise character plays a big part in the story of Batman. +Robin lends a hand to help out at points in the game, along with other allies. +Clear out the city of ground tanks to explore on foot more safely, aside from gangs. +Bat seat from your vehicle launches Batman high into the air for maximum gliding exploration. +Easy, normal, hard difficulties. +Mission variety is great. Many different goals to progress through the game at your pace. +Grappling hook can catapult Batman high into the air when ascending. +Control layout very similar to prior games. Batmobile may take time to learn the new controls. +Graphics very detailed as in prior games, and 1080p this time. 49 GB minimum installation. Unreal Engine used for graphics. +Huge game with lots of unique, fun and challenging missions. +Nice variety of locations, interiors, underground areas, etc. City blocked off by bridges after story evacuation. +Fight against famous enemies. Scarecrow, Penguin, Two Face, Riddler, Poison Ivy, and more. +Lots of classic voice actors return, including Batman's Kevin Conroy. +PS4 version includes DLC: Scarecrow Nightmare Missions in a nightmare version of the city, and 3000 Batman & '60's Adam West costume. Only negatives I can think of at the time: -Early on, the rain doesn't let up, as it constantly pours hours into the game without any sign of slowing down till you advance further. -Outer city limits in the distance can't be reached, so you'll see basic city background buildings, but it's inaccessible. -Not all prior areas are present from past games in this expanded city, but that's a minor complaint. If you enjoyed Arkham Asylum or Arkham City, also from Rocksteady, this Batman is a must buy to complete the trilogy. Awesome game.

Fantastic game!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you enjoyed the first installments of this series then you will love this one!! The open world feel is amazing, no more gliding forever to get from place to place, you get to fully utilize the bat mobile and it is even requires for a ton of the content! The graphics are very smooth and well done, I play on a ps4 on a 55 inch high end 4k TV which upscales the graphics to even better than the 1080p and I never have any drops in frame rates. The storyline is fairly well done but the gameplay itself is where this one really warns its 5 star rating from me. I have been a huge fan of the franchise and my biggest complaint is that it is over sad face!! In the beginning of the game when you incinerate the joker was a surprise but don't worry he is not completely gone and you get to put up with his antics from just a little way into the game. The combat in the games is just as seem less as it ever has been and I just love hitting a 30 point combo which is both as easy yet more difficulty than before due to new enemy weapons and armor. There seems to be endless combat with the batmobile vs drones of all types including helicopters and some even have missile lock which allows you to blow their missiles out of the sky. There are two different types of control for the batmobile one of course is balls to the wall all out race car type driving with upgradable afterburners that allow you to catch up to enemy vehicles as well as give you the speed to drive upside down in circular motion while you are in tunnels to avoid walls that you cannot blast through. The Arkham knight himself admittedly is a weak character at best but he is just really the number 2 villain, scarecrow is calling all the shots (for the most part) and he of course is great at narrowly escaping you by holding hostages and such. Back to the batmobile, it is equipped with I winch type device that allows you to pull down walls, have the batmobile hang vertically along walls to accomplish certain tasks and one of the best features is that you have a remote control for it so you can control it from afar to get it to kill enemies and blast through walls that you cannot get to with the explosive gel. The weapons are more or less the same however they are used differently than the previous "chapters" of the game, meaning that before the bat law for instance was heavily used previously but now it is really mainly used for combat situations rather than pulling down walls and such. I could go on forever about this game but in the end a quick review would be something like this: this is by far the best game of the series, the graphics are amazing and the fast paced action will leave you breathless! A must buy for anyone who enjoyed the previous game or any open world game in the past!

Amazing game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I knew this game was going to be good, that I pre-ordered the game. I never pre-order games, I think the practice is terrible. I have to admit, this game blew my expectations. Graphics are amazing, gameplay is incredible, and the batmobile is so much fun to use. My biggest love of the game is how dark the story is and the dark sense of humor. That's been my criticism of recent superhero movies of late, how their stories are for kids and bland. I'm happy to report that arkham knight story is just as dark or even darker than the dark knight movie. This is a must have game. Game of the year in my book!

Bat-tastic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a loyal Arkham Asylum fan since day 1 (I even wrote my thesis on the game!), I LOVED Arkham City, and despite some frustrations, enjoyed Arkham Origins for the most part. Although I was skeptical in the first few minutes of the game, Arkham Knight has proven to be fantastic so far - there is a good balance of story and action, and the introduction of the Batmobile brings a new dimension to the gameplay without dominating it too much as a shiny new toy. There is a significant amount of DLC available, but I wouldn't bother with the season pass unless you can pick it up on sale.

Loving it so far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My experience so far has been great; no bugs, no hassles. The game looks amazing, and the new features are almost overwhelmingly fun. I'm so glad they've made the batmobile a larger piece of the game. My only (mild) complaint is the batmobile controls. It has a 'battle mode', which you enter by pressing the L2. Typically, L2 is 'brake', for most driving games, when using R2 for acceleration. Instead, brake is assigned to square. Just an odd choice, which many gamers seem to fumble with (see youtube). Obviously, you can adapt with time, and hardly takes away from this game. Best in the series

Best of the best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Going into Arkham Knight, my expectations were high. I thought they would be way too high to be met. Rocksteady pulled through though. This is the best Arkham game to date in my opinion. They built and refined off of everything that made Arkham Asylum and City so amazing. Combat is still as smooth as silk, graphics are outstanding and story is solid. A few minor negatives I have are the length of the main story (too short) and the Batmobile sections get tedious and repetitive. Minor inconveniences that don't take away at all from the 5 star experience you get with Arkham Knight!
