This game was a joy to play. I originally purchased it on the PC and later got a refund due to the horrible optimization and bugs (Warner Brothers actually recalled the PC version of the game). Fortunately I had only spent 1-1.5 hours playing the PC version. I then purchased this game (PS4) from Best Buy and have no regrets. The graphics look amazing on the PS4 and the game played smoothly. I don't remember how many hours that it took me to beat the game but if I had to guess I'd say around 15-20 hours. I didn't purchase the DLC pass just yet, I'll probably do that when half of the content has already been released (why pay full price to get 1/6 of the DLC upfront). I don't want to spoil the story of the game but I was really satisfied with it. Pros: +Great game length +Graphics look good +Fun gameplay +Game properly optimized +Has a decent amount of side content (side missions) that can be worth completing (no spoilers here) +Batmobile is fun...for a while Cons: -No real boss fights outside of the batmobile -Batmobile is forced too much.

This game has more of everything I loved in the first two games. The batmobile is a little much at times, but doesn't stop me from feeling like a serious force plowing through the city. People complain because they want perfection. The game isn't perfect, no game is. But this is one heck of a video game.

I played a little of the first in the batman series and I really enjoyed it. So I wanted a change of pace from some of the games I've been playing lately and picked this up for under $20 and was totally worth it. Read the reviews though, for those who have played all the games might want to read.

4.5 is probably more accurate...excellent story, incredible, graphics, and wonderful side missions. The one problem is that the batmobile(mostly the tank) is too large of a part of the game. It would have been great if it was a smaller part of the game but it was so frequent that it became repetitive.

There's a lot of negatives in the finale Rock steady Batman game. They've seem to have taken out challenge maps, an overuse of the bat mobile, and the story is highly predictable. But gameplay, aesthetics, atmosphere. You really do feel like you're the Batman. It's a great game with great voice work, looks beautiful, and runs perfect when playing on consoles. If you've been a fan of the Arkham games you owe to yourself to give this game a go.

The title says it all but this is easily the best console game I have ever played! It has everything I want out of a game: great visuals/graphics, great action, great story, great characters, and lots of things to do! I'm not even a Batman fan (Marvel guy here) but a fine job, if I do say so myself!

The Epic Conclusion to Rocksteady's Batman

This is the definitive Batman game in Rocksteady's universe. The story was so fun to play through and the Batmobile segments grew on me the more I played. I got the Season Pass and the DLC that has released thus far has been pretty cool. This is also the first game I've earned a Platinum Trophy in.

Being I'm a huge Batman fan and have loved all the previous Batman games I was super excited for this game to come out. I bought it first day and beat less than a week later playing in the evenings after work. I love the graphics (ps4) and the batmobile is awesome. I'm very impressed with this game.

The game is awesome, Rocksteady has made another masterpiece, the only gripe I have with the game is a lot of the time you are forced to be in the Batmobile, while it is cool I think it should have been left up to the player rather than have forced moments. Other than that Best game of the trilogy.

...still playing my way through it, but the graphics are beautiful and gameplay is consistently great as in the previous two editions. Batmobile is clunky at first, but am slowly getting used to it. I wouldn't say that it feels like a "forced" addition to the game, but it's not as free-flowing because of it. However, if you've purchased and liked the two previous editions in the series, there is no reason not to get this epic finale.

Gotta say this game is superb. Best Batman game ever which makes how fantastic the game is even if it was without the license all the sweeter. The bat mobile is a great addition. Some game sites say the tank aspect is off but I enjoy it a lot so whatever. Get this game now!!! Thank me later :-)

Finished the game by taking my time and achieving 100% in 3 weeks. The graphics, the gameplay and the score immerse you in such a way that you don't want to put the controller down. my only complain was the over used batmobile tank battles that just became repetitive and tedious after a while

I was really impressed both graphically and story wise with the finale of the Arkham Batman series. While the game is not without its few flaws, the variety of actions and level of detail added to this game really makes for a more enjoyable experience. Plus, the new Batmobile is the best yet. Driving that is an experience unto itself. You will not be disappointed in this game, especially if you are a fan of the Arkham series.

I'm torn about this game. On the one hand, it's a (mostly) polished experience that's enjoyable and caps off a great series of games started on the 360/PS3. On the other hand, the developers over at Rocksteady have crammed so much "side" quest stuff into the game, it feels aimless. Many modern games have this issue, particularly ones with open worlds. You're pulled in every direction with missions: stop a crime here, put out a fire there, chase some bad guys in the Batmobile. And oh yeah, if you have a moment, remember there's a bomb about to go off, but not really... we need to give you the choice of what to do in the order you want to do it in, so long as you've "unlocked" the different sections of the map. As "open" as this world is, it's not truly open until about halfway through the "main" story mission. Characters chatter all the time, and in small doses that's fine, but the game is overwritten to a fault, so much so that conversations often overlap one another. Which either proves how pointless most of it is, or just shows a lack of awareness on the developer's part. Aside from the occasional hiccup in framerate or action, the game runs really well. There were some major issues with the PS4 version, one that required a day-one patch that was nearly 4GBs, with an additional patch a week later to fix the online leader boards that were working on the first day of release. Overall, it's a good game that doesn't quite achieve the same highs as its predecessor ARKHAM CITY, and with a $40 season pass on the table, those on the fence may want to wait for the inevitable GOTY edition.

Best game by far in the franchise! Awesome story, beautiful graphics and sound and I cannot put it down. Any fan of the other games of the series should love this game. This game seems huge with so much content and things to do. I can't ever imagine being bored with this game! Must buy IMO!

This is a must own game for any fans of batman with a PS4. The story plays out very well while playing the game, immersing you with the same quality of watching a movie play out in real time. The visuals are amazing and crisp. The controls are funner than ever. Well worth the experience!

I have no complaints so far. This installment in the series does a great job of training players on the control scheme. the game looks great & runs flawlessly on the PS4. Wearing the 1960 TV skin is hilarious at times, especially in cutscenes where other NPCs are taking Batman seriously!

The end of a trilogy that started with Arkham Asylum. Arkham Knight finishes strong and has a satisfying yet bitter sweet ending. Picking up right where Arkham City left off you'll be pushed to the limit by all the villians in the Batman universe. A must play for all Dark Knight fans

Improving upon the strong gameplay standard Rocksteady established with Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, Arkham Knight is the conclusion to the series and certainly goes out with a bang. The combat remains the same wonderful, flowing combat as before, with new enemy types included to spice up fights. The Batmobile is of course a critical aspect of the game and is super fun to drive and use but is perhaps a bit overused for the various missions the game has to offer. Stealth segments don't show up nearly as much as they used to but are still present and provide more fun, predatory experiences for players. And without giving too much away, there's an entire character arc persisting throughout the game that, well, personally I believed it was the best part of the game in how it was handled. That being said, the game does fall a bit short, with essentially no boss fight unlike the previous entries in the series, save for Batmobile-based ones which aren't all that exciting. The plot is also fairly loose and several characters don't get the treatment they deserve. While the game IS a fantastic game, it's touted as the conclusion to the Arkham series and the definitive Batman experience and yet, it doesn't feel like the definitive Batman experience. There's so much untapped potential for a better Batman game than this and it is disappointing to know that Rocksteady is abandoning it for other projects given their track record for building upon previous games for sequels. Still, it's a good, solid game that I'd recommend to just about anyone.
