Like the complexity of the graphics

Fun but too much of the same old and very short
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly feels more like a DLC than a full fledged game. Fans of the previous installments will at least be somewhat entertained but the glitches, similar missions and short length are frustrating. Perhaps this game is a better rental than purchase.

Better than Arkham Knight, worse than others
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No batmobile nonsense so this is already better than Arkham Knight. However playing on PS3 is rough. Terrible frame rate, juddering and unresponsive controls.

like its predecessors
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you've played Arkham Asylum or Arkham City, you pretty know what you're in for. I am really not impressed with the boss fights though. Timing for counters is critical, and can have you stuck on a boss for quite the while, even on easier modes

Seems good, but not great like AC
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I played Arkham City and did pretty much everything that was possible for that game. I've played maybe 2 hours of Arkham Origin and something doesn't just seems off compared to Arkham Origin, not sure if it's the story or the controls.

more of the same
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn't even bother beating the game. Just felt too repetitive. More of the same from previous Batman games. Felt more like a chore to go through than enjoyment. I strongly recommend "Last of Us" instead.

below usual standard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own and love both of the previous games but this one is a disappointment. I know that they were going for a younger, rough around the edges Batman but the controls ruin the gameplay. There is a rough transition between enemies so when fighting a group, punches go wide and you get nailed. More times than not, Batman just continued to punch the empty air until I stopped fighting all together. The fun was in the continuous flow from one enemy to another. This game lacks that finesse and makes for a frustrating time.

On par with gameplay, lacks in story
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finished the story in ten hours with only about 50-60% of the content. No explanation of the other parts I missed. Could be better. Hopefully next installments are better.

Good if you like Previous Arkham Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you like Arkham Asylum, and you want more of the same, you will like this game. If you are looking for something new and different you will be disappointed.

Can't Play!!!?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the Game since Christmas and to date have been unable to download a required update to the Game in order to play it. There is no message other than "try again" and "if that doesn't work contact the Manufacturer". Well - I've tried and there is no contact info for Warner Bros. Games that I can find. Very upset and disappointed. Wish i could return it.

Batman Arkham Franchise - Nail Hammer SLAMMED
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game truly shows how far the Batman Arkham franchise has come. The visual effects of this game are stunning, it is set in Christmas in Gotham two years after Zero Year and the snow is a wonderful backdrop, the characters all have their breath visible, everything you would expect to see if you were watching an actual movie with real live actors. From the very first boss battle, I was hooked, it took me back to all the challenging boss battles I remember from the Nintendo/N64/Sony PS1 days where you cursed because it was actually a CHALLENGE to beat the boss. All the normal Arkham things are found here, Batarang, Detective Mode, Batwing, etc. Because it is set so early, Commissioner Gordon is Detective Gordon still (which I liked that little detail they stuck to, they could have screwed that one up). The cast of characters is phenomenal. So why did I give it 4 stars instead of 5 stars. Here is my opinion why it did not earn that last star from me. Roger Craig Smith voices Batman, and he just doesn't do it as well as Kevin Conroy has done Batman for so long. Mark Rolston as Deathstroke just doesn't pull it off, they should have recast Ron Perlman to reprise the role from The Flashpoint Paradox or Fred Tatasciore from Young Justice. I will say one casting that was well done, Nolan North as the Penguin was fantastic. The other reason I gave it 4 stars, they screwed up Copperhead and totally changed that character. This truly was a departure from DC cannon and it bothered me. Do not let those issues though dissuade you from buying what is possibly thus far the best game in the Batman Arkham franchise.

Incredible!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Rocksteady has done it again! Arkham Origins may have slipped into my favorite game of the series. You really get the feel of how Bruce Wayne became what he is to everyone else, The Batman. Great story, great voice acting, and of course, great gameplay. 5/5! Love it!

If your a Batman fan this game is for you
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved playing this game, it has good graphics and sound and a great storyline and side missions that sucks you in to the point that you don't want to stop playing it cause you can't wait to find out what happens next. So if you loved Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, I recommend getting Batman Arkham Origins to you wont be disappointed.

More of the same for the Arkham franchise
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely enjoyed both of the previous games in the Arkham series. They were groundbreaking entries and challenged gamer's preconceived notions of what a super-hero game should be like. Arkham Origins, however doesn't specifically ADD to the genre. It is an extension of the previous games (literally for Arkham City as half of the map for Origins is what was used in Arkham City). It does delve deeper into the relationship between Batman, Gordon, the Joker, and even Alfred, so it is definitely a story worth playing for. However, the multiplayer was very unstable. I was not able to find any games the times that I tried to log on. The few times I did play, the gameplay was enjoyable, but nothing spectacular. I would recommend this for any fan of the series.
