Being a follower of the Batman series, I was really excited to get home and play the game that ties it all together. But the game has some series flaws. The first is that it glitches, in more than one area, and it screw the entire game up. In many spots I had to restart from a previous checkpoint, redo an entire scene that I just finished, or restart my console. This got really frustrating after awhile and somewhat made me not even want to play. But then I got more into it only to realize that many of the challenges can only be done going through the game a particular way. This got even more irritating and I am kind of over the whole series now to be honest.

Same as the rest of the latest games. Story is bait broken, but it all comes together at the end. New developer, it's not Rocksteady, but they didn't tamper with much of the fomula. Cant wait for the next one Arkham Knight on XBOX ONE!

My game reads the title update as bad dlc and crashes to the dashboard. This is the same title update that fixes all the numerous bugs in this mess of a game.

It feels like the same game. I honestly would rather play Arkham asylum for a third time then finish this story mode

While not as great as the main entries in the series, Origins is still a fun way to pass the time.

    Favorite Game in Series

I've loved all of the Arkham games to date, however I love the Holiday setting of Batman: Arkham Origins. In addition, I think the story is a lot more in-depth and mature than the previous Arkham games. Arkham Origins definitely offers the darkest story in the franchise. I also really liked how Batman seemed like more of a detective this time around. The gameplay is similar to previous games, though after coming off of playing the Arkham City Game of the Year Edition, I do feel that the combat in Arkham Origins is a lot more fluid and offers better transitions. The graphics are top notch overall. You'll see a few graphical anomalies like weak texture work or texture pop-in at times, but it's not a deal-breaker at all. While yes, Arkham Origins is very similar to Arkham City, I feel that its darker story and Holiday setting make it the better game. It reminded me of Tim Burton's Batman, which is hands down my favorite. I also felt that while Arkham Origins outdoor structure is like Arkham City, a lot of the indoor stuff reminded me more of Arkham Asylum, so it marries the best of both worlds. It is, however, a shame that people have had saves corrupted and hit game-breaking glitches, but I'm happy to report that I did not.

This game is horrible. I LOVED the other games! This one missed all the markes. It's so glitchy. The fight sequences are boring and way to repetitive. I was hoping for so much more and was let down hard.

Total cash grab of a game. Poorly developed storyline and no improvements to gameplay. Actually reuses the same map from Arkham City. Throwing in a tacked on multiplayer mode doesn't help. Stay away.
